Cycle past orchards and vineyards towards Cavour, home to the curious 'Rocca' fortress. Take a break at the former Staffarda Cistercian abbey before rejoining the river Po and heading to the medieval city of Saluzzo, where you can soak up its Italian flair.

Start your day with a transfer to Imperia, the starting point of one of Italy's best cycle paths. Enjoy spectacular views of the turquoise blue sea along the Riviera of the Flowers as you make your way to San Remo. Don't miss the 1.7km long bike tunnel along the famous Milan to San Remo bike race.
