HIKING THE LITHUANIAN SEASIDE: Curonian Spit, Palanga, Ventė Cape

Begin your day with a brief meeting at your hotel, followed by a short minivan transfer to the Seaside Regional Park. From there, embark on a hiking tour to the resort town of Palanga. Along the way, visit the Dutchman’s Cap for a stunning panorama of the Baltic Sea. Once in Palanga, explore the Botanical Park and Amber Museum, and stroll down the lively J.Basanavičius pedestrian street. Return to Klaipėda by public bus (not included).

Today, a minivan transfer takes you inland to the Nemunas River delta Regional Park. Start your hike along the Curonian Lagoon, passing through the picturesque village of Minija, often referred to as the Venice of Lithuania. Your day ends at the tranquil Ventė Cape, where you'll check into your hotel.

Enjoy a free day to explore Nida, a former old fishermen's village nestled between the Baltic Sea and the Curonian Lagoon. Take a leisurely walk along the sand dunes to the Baltic Sea, visit the Fisherman's House, the summer house of famous German writer Thomas Mann, and the Amber Gallery. End your day with an optional dinner at the hotel.

Start your day with a morning transfer to the Dead (Grey) Dunes, where you'll hike through the Nagliai Strict Nature Reserve. This unique landscape was shaped by strong winds and is home to four villages buried in the sand centuries ago. Continue your hike to Pervalka and Preila, passing by picturesque spots along the Curonian Spit. From Preila, you can return to Nida by public bus or continue hiking to Nida.

Take a public bus to Juodkrantė, where you'll embark on a circular hike featuring the Amber Bay and the Hill of Witches, adorned with mystical wooden sculptures. Spend the afternoon at your leisure, perhaps relaxing on the white sand beach or sampling local cuisine. In the evening, take a speed boat or minibus transfer back to Klaipėda.
