Relaxed Hiking in the Baltic States

Welcome to Lithuania! Upon your arrival at Vilnius Airport, you'll be escorted to your hotel in the city. In the evening, you'll meet your tour guide and fellow travelers during an introductory session. You'll spend the next two nights in Vilnius.

Today, we'll explore the historic city of Vilnius, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We'll visit the picturesque Old Town, the Town Hall Square, and the Gate of Dawn, and learn about the history of amber at the Amber Museum. In the afternoon, we'll travel to Kernav, the ancient capital of Lithuania, and hike along the banks of the River Neris in the Neris Regional Park.

Today, we'll journey to Klaipda, stopping en route at the iconic Trakai Island Castle. In Klaipda, we'll explore the charming old town, with its cobbled streets, historic churches, and remnants of the old city wall. We'll spend the next two nights in Klaipda.

Today, we'll spend the day exploring the Curonian Spit, a stunning natural wonder. We'll hike through fragrant pine forests and along beautiful dune paths, and visit the charming town of Nida. We'll also visit the Thomas Mann House, which houses fascinating photographs of the famous writer. The afternoon is free for you to explore at your leisure.

On our way to Riga, we'll stop at the famous Hill of Crosses, a unique historical pilgrimage site. We'll then cross the border into Latvia and visit Kemeri National Park, where we'll hike through the unique moorland and marshland landscape. We'll reach Riga in the evening, where we'll spend the next two nights.

Today, we'll explore the historic city of Riga. We'll visit St. Peter's Church, walk past Riga Cathedral, and marvel at the Blackheads' House on the Town Hall Square. In the afternoon, you'll have free time to explore the city on your own. Don't miss the chance to visit the Art Nouveau Museum or stroll through Riga's central market.

Today, we'll hike in the Gauja National Park, also known as 'Latvian Switzerland'. We'll then visit the historic Turaida Castle, which offers a fantastic view of the picturesque Gauja valley. In the evening, we'll reach Kuressaare, the capital of the largest Estonian island, Saaremaa, where we'll spend the next two nights.

Today, we'll visit Vilsandi National Park, the first protected area in the Baltic States. We'll cross over in small boats and hike through the park, which is home to numerous seabirds. In the afternoon, you'll have free time to explore Kuressaare on your own. Don't miss the chance to visit the historic Ordensburg Castle.

Today, we'll travel back to the ferry, stopping at the famous Angla Mill Hill. We'll then visit the impressive Lahemaa National Park, where we'll hike along the 'Beaver Trail' from the clear Oandu River to the 400-year-old fishing village of Altja. We'll spend the night at a traditional farm in the heart of the national park.

Today, we'll explore the historic city of Tallinn. We'll visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Old Town, with its well-preserved cathedral, town hall, and city walls. The afternoon is free for you to explore at your leisure. You'll spend the night in Tallinn.

Today marks the end of our unforgettable journey through Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. You'll be transferred to Tallinn Airport for your return flight home.
