Fjords, Charm and Traditions & Stockholm

Welcome to the enchanting Kingdom of Norway, renowned for its breathtaking fjords. Upon your arrival in Oslo, make your way to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you might start exploring the vibrant city, including the royal family's residence and the bustling Karl Johan's Street. In the evening, meet your Tour Leader for an insightful introduction to your upcoming adventure. Overnight stay at Clarion the Hub (or similar).

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive through Norway's picturesque landscapes. Pass by the serene Lake Tyrifjord and the stunning Hallingdal Valley on your way to Flåm. In Geilo, board the train to Myrdal, then transfer to the renowned Flåmsbana for a breathtaking journey to Flåm. Optionally, enjoy a cruise on the Sognefjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue by bus to Voss for an overnight stay at Scandic Voss Hotel (or similar).

After breakfast, travel to Bergen, known as the Gateway to the Fjords. Upon arrival, join a local guide for a two-hour tour of the city's highlights, including the Hanseatic Bryggen, the Church of Mary, the Hakon Fortress, and the bustling Fish Market. You may also choose to ride the Fløibanen Funicular for panoramic views. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight at Scandic Ørnen Hotel (or similar).

Begin your day with a ferry crossing of the majestic Sognefjord, Norway's longest and deepest fjord. Continue your journey to the awe-inspiring Briksdal Glacier, nestled between roaring waterfalls and towering peaks. Choose to hike or take a 'Trollcar' to the glacier for an additional fee. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Loenfjord Hotel (or similar).

After breakfast, head to Geiranger for a scenic cruise on the Geirangerfjord, renowned for its dramatic cliffs and stunning waterfalls. Continue your journey along the famous Eagle Road, with its 11 hairpin bends and breathtaking views. Cross the fjords by ferry from Eidsdal to Linge and Vestnes to Molde. Overnight at Scandic Seilet (or similar).

Enjoy a scenic drive along the Atlantic Road, a marvel of engineering that connects islands with bridges and causeways. This route offers stunning views of the ocean and is considered one of the world's most beautiful road trips. Continue your journey south to Oppdal for an overnight stay at Quality Skifer Hotel (or similar).

After breakfast, journey back to Oslo with a stop in Lillehammer, where you can explore the Olympic City. Continue along the shores of Lake Mjøsa, Norway's largest lake. Upon arrival in Oslo, enjoy a guided tour of the city's highlights, including Frogner Park, the Royal Palace, and Akershus Fortress. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight at Clarion the Hub (or similar).

After breakfast, embark on a self-guided journey to Stockholm via high-speed train. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and explore the city at your leisure. Discover the charming streets, visit the royal family's residence, and stroll along Drottninggatan, a bustling street filled with shops, bars, and cafes. Overnight in Stockholm at Clarion Sign (or similar).

After breakfast, embark on a Royal Canal Cruise to learn about Stockholm's rich history. Known as the 'Venice of the North,' Stockholm is built on 14 islands and surrounded by Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea. Explore the charming Gamla Stan with its cobblestone streets and visit the Royal Palace. Overnight in Stockholm at Clarion Sign (or similar).

Enjoy your final breakfast in Stockholm. Depending on your flight schedule, take the opportunity for some last-minute shopping or explore more of the city's attractions.
