Today, we journey along the scenic Norwegian Riviera, stopping at the idyllic harbor town of Arendal. Known for its timber exports and its old Town Hall, the tallest wooden structure in the country, Arendal offers a glimpse into Norway's past. We then continue to Kristiansand, an important industrial district where you can enjoy some free time at the lively Fiskebrygga (fish market).

We continue our journey along Norway's ruggedly beautiful coastline, heading into the Lista region. Today is yours to explore Bergen at your own pace. You may wish to spend some time at Bryggen, a collection of multi-hued 14th-century Hanseatic buildings lining the harbor. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a must-see for any visitor to Bergen. You may also consider joining an optional excursion to discover the history, traditions, and breathtaking views of this beautiful port city.

A special treat awaits us today as we cruise across Norway's legendary Sognefjord, the narrowest, wildest, and most famous of the fjord arms. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is surrounded by mountains that rise steeply to reach towering heights, creating a unique magical atmosphere. Later, we ride on the renowned Flåm train, offering some of the world's most breathtaking scenery, including graceful waterfalls, towering mountains, and verdant valleys.

We stop in Lom to see its iconic wooden stave church, which dates back to the 12th century. We then visit Lillehammer, host of the 1994 Winter Olympics and home today to a lively art scene. Our day ends in Hamar, located on the eastern shore of Mjøsa, the largest lake in Norway.
