Your journey begins at 7:30 AM at the Skjeggedal/P2 parking area, where you’ll meet your experienced guides and fellow adventurers. After a thorough briefing and gear check—rental equipment available if needed—you’ll set off on a 4 km hike up to Mågelitopp, switching to snowshoes for the steeper ascent to Gryteskar.
As you traverse the pristine winter trails, you’ll pass through Gryteskar, Floren Endåne, and Tyssebotn, with regular breaks to soak in panoramic views of Ringedalen valley, frozen waterfalls, and snow-carved formations. Along the way, your guides share insights into local history and point out the best photography spots, ensuring you capture every magical moment.
Upon reaching the famous Trolltunga, perched high above Lake Ringedalsvatnet with the distant Folgefonna glacier as a backdrop, take time for a memorable photo shoot and enjoy stories from your guides. The return journey is easier, often accompanied by a beautiful sunset, and ends with a fun snowracer ride down from P3 to P2.
