The hike can take 7-9 hours Snowshoes and microspikes might be required early or late in the season What to bring: A lot of food (sandwiches, nuts, chocolate, banana) 1,5 litres of water (we can fill up water on some spots along the hiking trail) Hiking shoes Wind/waterproof shell jacket Mid layer Cap or hat Sunglasses and sunscreen Backpack with approximately 35 litres capacity If rain and low temperatures are forecasted bring also: Woolen base layer (do not use cotton: it is freezing cold when it is wet) Warm mid layer Wind/waterproof shell pants Spare socks Beanie or headband Gloves Meeting point is at P2 in Skjeggedal The terrain becomes milder after the initial uphill
