Experience the thrill of hiking to Trolltunga, one of Norway’s most breathtaking natural landmarks. This guided summer adventure begins at P2 in Skjeggedal, where you’ll meet your expert guide and fellow hikers before taking a shuttle to P3, saving time and energy for the journey ahead.
The hike to Trolltunga covers stunning terrain, with panoramic views of the deep blue Ringedalsvatnet lake and the distant Folgefonna Glacier. Your guide shares fascinating stories about the local nature and history, making every step more meaningful and memorable.
Along the trail, you’ll pause at scenic viewpoints and enjoy well-timed breaks for snacks and drinks. Guides are equipped with safety gear and hiking poles, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for all participants. If needed, snowshoes or microspikes are provided for early or late season hikes.
Upon reaching Trolltunga, stand atop the iconic rock formation jutting 700 meters above the valley. Your guide will help capture incredible photos, including the exclusive “needle” view, available only on guided tours when conditions allow. After soaking in the scenery, you’ll retrace your steps back to Skjeggedal.
