Experience the thrill of whale watching in Norway's Arctic as you set off from Tromsø for an unforgettable adventure to Skjervøy. Your journey begins with a comfortable early-morning bus ride from Tromsø Havn Prostneset, where you’ll meet your driver and settle in for a scenic four-hour trip to the island.
Upon arrival in Skjervøy, you’ll be greeted by your experienced skipper, who will outfit you with all necessary warm and safety gear. After a thorough pre-departure briefing, get ready to board a nimble open RIB boat and head out into the icy fjords of Northern Norway.
As you speed across the water, keep your eyes peeled for the majestic dorsal fins and flukes of orcas, humpback whales, and fin whales in their natural Arctic feeding grounds. Your skipper will share fascinating insights about local marine life, and with luck, you may also spot white-tailed sea eagles and other wildlife.
The tour includes approximately three hours on the water, providing plenty of opportunities for incredible photos and unforgettable memories. After the whale-watching excursion, you'll return to the harbor to warm up with a hot drink in the dressing room before your guide escorts you back to the bus.
A freshly prepared baguette is provided for your journey back to Tromsø, ensuring you stay comfortable and satisfied. Please note that for safety reasons, children under 14 years old or under 140 cm in height cannot join this adventure. Secure your spot now and witness the wonders of Norway's Arctic wildlife—availability is limited!
