Set out from Tromsø on an unforgettable whale-watching journey to Skjervøy, Norway, where Arctic waters teem with marine life. Begin your adventure early in the morning at the Tromsø Havn Prostneset bus terminal, joining a comfortable, air-conditioned coach for a scenic four-hour drive through the breathtaking northern landscape.
On arrival in Skjervøy, your experienced skipper will provide a safety briefing and equip you with a thermal suit, boots, mittens, goggles, and a life vest to ensure you stay warm and secure during the RIB boat excursion. The anticipation builds as you board the open boat and head out into the fjords, searching for the telltale signs of whales.
Keep your camera ready as you scan the Arctic waters for orcas, humpback whales, and fin whales feeding in their natural habitat. Along the way, marvel at the dramatic scenery and keep an eye out for white-tailed sea eagles and other local wildlife. Your skipper will share fascinating insights about the marine ecosystem and the incredible creatures you encounter.
After approximately three hours at sea, return to the harbor and warm up with a hot drink in the dressing room. Your guide will then escort you back to the bus, where a fresh baguette awaits for your journey back to Tromsø.
