Hiking the Azores

Embark on a scenic hike from Ribeira Funda to Maia along the island's dramatic north coast. Pause for lunch at the secluded Praia da Viola. Spend the morning hiking to Lagoa do Fogo, the highest body of water in the Azores. Wander through a forest of Eucalyptus and Japanese Cedars to reach the lake's shore.
