Start your journey from Marques de Pombal Square in Lisbon and head towards the fairytale-like Palace of Pena in Sintra. Enjoy free time exploring the UNESCO classified town of Sintra, its handicraft shops, and tearooms. Continue to Colares, known for its quality wines, and then to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe. Pass by the Guincho beach and Hell’s Mouth, and visit the charming coastal town of Cascais. Return to Lisbon along the Estoril Coast, admiring panoramic views of the Casino and its gardens. Overnight stay in a Lisbon area hotel (or similar).

After breakfast, leave Lisbon and head north to Obidos, a picturesque town surrounded by medieval walls. Enjoy lunch in Nazare, a colourful fishing village, and visit the Batalha Monastery, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. End the day at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima, a centre of Christian faith and a world pilgrimage site. Return to Lisbon through a rich agricultural region.
