4h Bucharest Private Tour (2h by Car and 2h Walking in Old Town)

What a fabulous 1:1 tour with Mircea. I’m forever grateful to have him showing me around beautiful Romania. His knowledge and passion was beyond compare. Highly recommended tour if visiting Bucharest.

My husband and I just had an amazing time on a 4-hour private tour of Bucharest with Cătălin (2 hours by car and 2 hours walking through the Old Town), and we enjoyed every minute of it!

We began our journey with a scenic drive around the city, stopping at several iconic landmarks. At each stop, Cătălin provided us with in-depth explanations of their historical significance, offering fascinating insights into Bucharest’s past. After the drive, we enjoyed a 2-hour walking tour of the Old Town, where Cătălin showed us some hidden gems that we would have never discovered on our own.

Cătălin is friendly and approachable, and you can tell he loves to share his deep knowledge of Romania and Bucharest. He made the whole experience enjoyable and informative.

The best part of the tour was our guide, Catalin. He was able to share his extensive of the city in a way that was both easy to understand and enjoyable. He was able to adapt the tour as we had already seen some of the sights. He added a couple of different stops plus he changed the ratio of time driving to walking as it was a chilly day. His years spent as concierge at a 5 Star hotel has given him extensive of the very vibrant city. He was not only able to recommend good restaurants but able to offer suggestions of dishes to try as we were in search of some traditional Romanian fare.

I would highly recommend this tour and if you are lucky enough to have Catalin as your guide it should make for a terrific experience.

My guide Sebastian was wonderful. He contacted me in advance which was helpful and did an outstanding job taking me to the all of the city landmarks both walking and by car. His stories were very interesting and he answered all of my questions. Since my time in the city of very limited I felt as though I had a very comprehensive tour of the town. Enjoy!

Great private tour guide with excellent historical information, pace, and locations to visit. 4 hour flew by super quick! I would highly recommend and use the same tour company again.

The tour is well planned and the sights are very interesting. Our guide made a great effort to balance good humor and history, which kept our interest. It was a large group with a wide range of physical levels, but he still managed to keep us all mostly together so we could all enjoy. A very good way to spend a day in Bucharest.
