Day 1 – Day 1: Edinburgh to Kyleakin

We set off from Edinburgh, crossing the Highland Divide and learning about the region's clans. After a refreshing woodland walk at The Hermitage, we continue to the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct, known to many as the Harry Potter bridge. We then take the scenic 'Road to the Isles' to Mallaig, from where we ferry over to the Isle of Skye. Our day ends in the charming village of Kyleakin, where we spend the night.
Day 2 – Day 2: Kyleakin to Loch Ness
Day 2: Kyleakin to Loch Ness
Our day begins with exploring the Isle of Skye, learning about its folklore and admiring its dramatic landscapes. We hike the Trotternish Peninsula, taking in the stunning views. Leaving Skye, we head to Loch Ness, home of the legendary Nessie. Our accommodation for the night is a unique hostel situated right on the shores of Loch Ness, offering unparalleled views of the water.
Day 3 – Day 3: Loch Ness to Edinburgh
Day 3: Loch Ness to Edinburgh
We leave Loch Ness, journeying south-east through awe-inspiring landscapes, including Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis. We stop at the dramatic Glen Coe, known for its violent history, before continuing through Rannoch Moor into Rob Roy country. Our journey concludes with a visit to Doune Castle, before we return to Edinburgh.
