This tour involves a strenuous hike and several hundred metres of elevation gain, so an apropriate level of fitness is required. The weather in Scotland can be changeable, so you are required to wear appropriate walking shoes/boots, and bring a waterproof/windproof coat. There is always a chance that it will be cold, windy, and wet. The hike will go ahead even if it's cloudy or raining, but this may affect the leader's choice of route. Please bring your own snacks and water. There are no cafes or shops on the route. Once we have left the car park at the Flotterstone Inn, there are no toilets anywhere on this hike, so please arrive prepared!
