Welcome to Serbia! Upon your arrival at Nikola Tesla Airport, you'll be greeted by your driver and escorted to your hotel in Belgrade. As you travel from the airport, you'll get your first glimpse of New Belgrade, a city district known for its unique blend of socialist architecture and modern business centers. You'll pass by the imposing Ušće Tower and other notable landmarks. After checking in at your hotel, take some time to rest and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.

After breakfast, embark on a tour of Belgrade, a city known for its diverse architectural styles and dynamic history. Visit the Museum of Yugoslav History, dedicated to the life and deeds of Josip Broz Tito, and the Temple of Saint Sava, an iconic symbol of the city. Enjoy a panoramic tour that takes you from Slavija Square to the bustling Knez Mihailo Street, the main pedestrian and shopping zone. The day ends with a visit to Kalemegdan Park and Belgrade Fortress, the city's most important cultural-historic complex.

Today, you'll explore Vojvodina, a province in northern Serbia known for its picturesque scenery and rich wine region. Visit the well-preserved Monastery Krušedol and the charming town of Sremski Karlovci, a gem of Serbian culture and spirituality. Enjoy a wine tasting at one of the region's prominent wineries before heading to Novi Sad, the 2021 European Capital of Culture. Here, you'll take a sightseeing tour around the city's multi-cultural and architecturally diverse city center before ending the day with a stunning view of the Danube from the Petrovaradin Fortress.

The tour continues to the Croatian capital of Zagreb, a city rich in culture and history. Explore the city's main attractions, including the medieval part of Zagreb, Kaptol, and the bustling farmers' market, Dolac. After lunch, you'll be driven to Slovenia, the world's first green destination. On your way, you'll stop at Otočec Castle, a unique water castle in Slovenia. The day ends in Ljubljana, where you'll check in at your hotel and rest for the next day's adventures.

Start your day with a guided tour around Ljubljana, the enchanting capital of Slovenia. Visit the city's beautiful landmarks, including the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas and the baroque Town Hall. In the afternoon, you'll visit the spectacular Postojna Cave, a must-see attraction in Slovenia. The day ends in the beautiful town of Piran, where you'll explore the delightful Tartini Square and the Cathedral of Saint George. Your final stop of the day is Portorož, a renowned tourist destination since the 13th century.

Today, you'll drive to Istria, a stunning part of the Croatian coast known for its gourmet food, Malvasia wine, and Venetian history. Visit Pula, a town rich in Roman architecture, and Rovinj, the pearl of the Adriatic. Wander the cobbled streets of Rovinj and marvel at the beautiful architecture that dates back to the 1700s. After the tour, you'll have free time to relax on the shore of the Adriatic Sea or continue exploring Rovinj's coast. Spend the evening soaking up the relaxing atmosphere of one of the many great hotels in Istria.

After breakfast, drive to Opatija, an aristocratic town known for its rich history and diverse architecture. Enjoy a walk along the famous Lungomare promenade, offering panoramic views of the sea. After lunch, you'll arrive at the famous Plitvice Lakes National Park. Here, you can relax and enjoy dinner in the refreshing atmosphere of the park, either in the hotel restaurant or a local restaurant nearby.

Start your day exploring Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its 16 interconnected cascading lakes. After a guided tour of the park, you'll drive along the Dalmatian coast to Šibenik, a medieval Venetian town. Spend your free time strolling through the charming streets and enjoying lunch in a square surrounded by Venetian architecture. The day ends in Split, where you'll check in at your hotel and rest for the next day's adventures.

After breakfast, start your sightseeing tour of Split, the largest Dalmatian city with a well-preserved and enormously rich history. Visit Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO Heritage Site, and the Cathedral of Saint Domnius. In the afternoon, you'll visit the beautiful town of Trogir, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the charming streets, admire the blend of architectural styles, and visit the Cathedral of Saint Lawrence. Return to Split in the evening and enjoy dinner in a restaurant by the sea.

Today, you'll drive along the beautiful Makarska coast towards Mostar, stopping for a visit to the famous pilgrimage site of Međugorje. In Mostar, you'll visit the Old Bridge, a UNESCO protected landmark, and other significant sites. The next destination is Trebinje, a picturesque town with a wonderful mix of cultural influences. Explore the town's landmarks, including Arslanagića Bridge and the old town, before spending the night in a local hotel.

This day is devoted to the Republic of Montenegro, a country known for its rich heritage and immense natural beauty. On the way to the marvelous Kotor, you'll stop at the town of Perast and take a boat ride to the picturesque island of Our Lady of the Rocks. In Kotor, a UNESCO site, you'll explore the city's landmarks during a walking tour. The day ends in Dubrovnik, where you'll check in at your hotel and rest for the next day's adventures.

After breakfast, start your walking tour around Dubrovnik, one of the most significant monuments in the world and one of Europe's best preserved walled cities. Visit the city's main street Stradun, the Rector's Palace, Sponza Palace, and other cultural moments. In the afternoon, you'll have free time to continue exploring the city or relax in one of the city's charming Mediterranean cafes.

After breakfast and hotel check-out, your memorable 13-day tour through the Balkans comes to an end. As most of our clients decide to extend their trip within their own organisation, transfer to the airport at the end of the tour is not included in the overall price.
