Welcome to Belgrade, the vibrant capital of Serbia. Upon arrival, you'll be escorted to your hotel, passing through New Belgrade, a classic example of Socialist architecture. In the evening, meet your guide at the hotel reception and prepare for your upcoming adventure. We recommend a leisurely walk through Skadarlija, the bohemian heart of Belgrade, where you can enjoy local specialties in charming 19th-century 'kafanas' while listening to traditional music.

After breakfast, we'll head north to the province of Vojvodina, known for its picturesque scenery and rich wine region. Visit the well-preserved Krušedol Monastery and the charming town of Sremski Karlovci, a gem of Serbian culture and spirituality. Enjoy a wine tasting session at one of the region's most prominent wineries. Later, explore Novi Sad, the 2021 European Capital of Culture, and visit the imposing Petrovaradin Fortress. Return to Belgrade for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, embark on a tour around Belgrade, known for its diverse architectural styles and dynamic history. Visit the Museum of Yugoslav History, pass by the FC Red Star Stadium, and marvel at the Temple of Saint Sava, a symbol of the city. The tour continues to Republic Square, the heart of Belgrade, and along the lively Knez Mihailo Street. Visit the Orthodox Cathedral Church of Saint Michael the Archangel and explore Kalemegdan Park and Belgrade Fortress, the city's most important cultural-historic complex.

After breakfast, we'll depart from Belgrade and head west towards the picturesque Ovčar-Kablar Gorge. The tour continues to Tara National Park, where you'll board the 'Nostalgia' train and enjoy stunning mountain scenery. Visit Drvengrad, an ethno village built by the renowned movie director Emir Kusturica. Later, we'll drive to Zlatibor Mountain, home to Serbia's first royal resort. Enjoy a relaxing walk around the quaint town centre and savour a traditional Serbian dinner at the hotel.

After breakfast, we'll continue our tour to Bosnia and Herzegovina. A short drive takes us to Višegrad, where we'll visit Andrićgrad, also known as Stone Town, built by Emir Kusturica. After lunch, we'll head to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. After a short rest, we'll start a sightseeing tour covering all the main sights of Sarajevo. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we'll drive to Mostar, one of the most beautiful cities of the Balkan Peninsula. Visit the Old Bridge, a UNESCO protected landmark, and explore the old tanner's quarter Tabhana. The tour continues to Blagaj, an old town from the 15th century, and then to Trebinje, a picturesque town with a wonderful mix of different cultures. Overnight in Trebinje.

After breakfast, we'll drive to Dubrovnik, one of Europe's best preserved walled cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the city's churches, fortifications, and monuments. Later, we'll head to Budva, known as the tourist capital of Montenegro. Enjoy a walk through the medieval cobbled streets of Budva's Old Town and relax on the warm sandy beach. Overnight in Budva.

After breakfast, we'll head to the Bay of Kotor, a must-see location with its unique landscape. Our first stop will be at the town of Perast, from where we'll start a relaxing boat ride to the picturesque island of Our Lady of the Rock. After the boat ride, we'll continue to Kotor, an old Mediterranean town that dates back to the 12th and 14th century. Enjoy free time in Kotor before returning to Budva for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we'll continue our tour through pristine nature, a national park and past Lake Skadar, the largest lake in Southern Europe. Visit the Monastery of Saint Ivan of Rila, the largest and most famous Eastern Orthodox monastery in Bulgaria. Later on, we'll drive to Sofia, the capital city of Bulgaria. Enjoy free time in the evening to explore the city's vibrant nightlife. Overnight in Sofia.

After breakfast, we'll drive to Elbasan, the third largest city in Albania, known for its castle district. Continue to Ohrid, the soul of the Balkans and the cradle of Slavic literacy. This UNESCO World Heritage Site will welcome you with a photographic setting and impeccably clear water. Later, we'll drive to Skopje, the capital city of North Macedonia. Overnight in Skopje.

After breakfast, start your sightseeing tour in the old part of Skopje with a stroll through the narrow streets of the Old Bazaar, the biggest bazaar preserved in the Balkans today. Visit the 1500-year old Kale fortress and enjoy the city's most important landmarks. For the remainder of the day, enjoy your free time to rest in the hotel or experience the city's nightlife. Overnight in Skopje.

After breakfast, we'll return to Serbia, this time to the eastern region, to the city of Niš. Known for being the birthplace of the Roman Emperor Constantine the Great, Niš is a crossroad between East and West. Visit several unique sights of global significance, including the Skull Tower and the Niš Fortress. After an exciting day, drive to Serbia's capital city, Belgrade. Overnight in Belgrade.

After breakfast and hotel check-out, your 14-day tour of the Balkans concludes. As most of our clients decide to extend their trip within their own organisation, transfer to the airport at the end of the tour is not included in the overall price.
