14-Day Tour Portugal and Andalusia from Madrid

After breakfast, we'll drive to Avila, a city known for its well-preserved medieval wall. After a short stop, we'll continue to Salamanca, a World Heritage University City renowned for its architectural and artistic wealth. We'll then cross the Portuguese border to reach Porto. Your accommodation will be at the AC Porto or a similar hotel.

After breakfast, we'll depart for Coimbra, home to one of Europe's oldest universities and the birthplace of Fado. After some free time, we'll continue to Fatima, a center of Christian faith and a world pilgrimage sanctuary. You'll have the opportunity to visit the impressive Basilica and the Cova da Iria, where the Virgin Mary appeared. In the evening, you may choose to attend the procession of the candles. Your accommodation will be at the Aurea Fátima, Estrela de Fátima, Regina or a similar hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we'll depart for the Batalha Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its Gothic and Manueline architecture. We'll then continue to the picturesque fishing town of Nazaré before visiting the Alcobaça Monastery. In the evening, we'll reach Lisbon. You may opt for a night tour to attend a Fado show, a typical Portuguese song and music. Your accommodation will be at the Roma or a similar hotel.

After breakfast, we'll depart for the city of Granada, the last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms up to 1492. Visit the world-famous Alhambra complex and Generalife Gardens. In the evening, you may opt for a Gipsy Flamenco show at the Sacromonte quarter. Your accommodation will be at the Hotel Alixares or a similar hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we'll drive northward to Toledo, a World Heritage City where Christians, Moorish and Jewish cultures have lived together. After a short guided tour of this historical old town, we'll continue to Madrid. Your accommodation will be at the Tryp Atocha or a similar hotel.
