What a beautiful and amazing place. Our guide, Juanma, did a nice job of pointing out all the features and telling us the history of the area. However, it was windy and hard to hear what he was saying throughout the tour, even though it was just the two of us. I will say that it was hot and the path at the end is not easy - about eight flights of steps and uphill to the shuttle bus. DO NOT wear anything but good walking shoes. It is approximately five miles - start to finish. You will be turned away if you wear flip flops. Bring water and a snack. The tour was great but, if we had to do it again, we’d pay the fee to get into the park and walk on our own.

The Caminito del rey tour was fantastic. Olga was friendly and so knowledgeable - she let us go at our pace and gave us the history and showed us nuances we might have missed on our own. It's definitely worth seeing and experiencing.

Fabian, our guide, was simply outstanding as we not only enjoyed the hike through the canyon but he shared his evening with friends that were all so kind. Lovely experience.

Our guide Juanma had a great knowledge about the area and made the trip very exciting by telling us a lot of local stories

My partner and I found a private tour the optimal way to hike Caminito del Rey. Yes, it’s more expensive that a large group or unguided tour but it was so worth the extra cost. No waiting in long lines. No being at the mercy of a large group’s potentially slow pace. And no struggling to hear commentary from the back of the pack. This allowed us to listen and ask questions while on the move and hike at a brisker pace. Rachel was an encyclopedia of knowledge and wove us through large groups of stationary hikers like we were VIP’s. We are not ones to stand and listen for long periods of time so we got to set our preferred speed. Kudos to Rachel for a great morning. The train from Málaga Maria Zambrano to El Chorro and back was a breeze and we had plenty of time to enjoy a wonderful lunch at La Garganta while waiting for our train back to the city.

I had a private tour guide and her name is Olga.
She was excellent and was extremely informative.
The walk is amazing in itself but Olga was very knowledgeable on all kinds of aspects, eg, tress, mountain formations etc. which gave me a great experience.
I highly recommend Olga as a tour guide!

Our tour with Luis was fabulous!
He is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and eager to share interesting information and stories. The "hike" is not difficult at all and the views are amazing.
The only negative about this tour is the need to pay for a shuttle bus to return to the parking area near the meeting place. It should be provided as part of the cost of the tour especially for the private tour as we had. We drove from Ronda which took an hour but well worth it. Caminito del Rey is not to be missed! A unique and unforgettable place!

Exhilarating! Well organized too! Everything was on time and interesting. The break in Ardales, the hike, the break after, all well timed and exciting. Miguel was a great host for the trip.

What a wonderful way to see the countryside of southern Spain! And Amanda, our guide, could not have been nicer! Our group of 9 LOVED this experience!! Good to be outside and the hike was long and beautiful! Absolutely a must do, but be prepared to walk (almost 4.5 miles!). Don't let the "most dangerous walkway" thing scare you though. The walk is very safe!
