Can-am Ryker Adventure Gran Canaria Grand tour

We chose the Can-am Ryker Adventure Gran Canaria Grand tour.

We were picked up at our hotel in Maspalomas. After a short briefing we left with our guide, Daniel.

First we cruised (never driving faster than 50 km/h) along the coastline and then headed into the mountains.

Beautiful views along the rough rocks, green nature in combination with many bends makes this a fantastic excursion to get to know Gran Canaria in a different way.

Daniel told us interesting facts during our several stops. The highlight was our lunch in the caves and the walk that goes with it.

Afterwards we were dropped off back at our hotel.

Ok, from the moment I met Daniel he seemed very chill and easygoing.

He went over the operation of the Ryker and then off we went. It was so much fun driving the machine.

We stopped by a beach after a 20 minute drive. Then we were off to the mountains and wow driving along winding roads. Stopped at some caves and then stopped in a small town to visit a church which was beautiful.

We then continued up into the mountains and stopped at a cave restaurant for a delicious lunch.

Then a return drive with a couple of stops.

All in all an amazing day and never once did we feel rushed or hurried.

I highly recommend this tour but be prepared for a good 4-5 hrs of riding and walking.

This is Definately one of the most fun things I have ever done. A must do. Danny was a super guide and made sure safety was number 1.

This is a wonderful tour. Great way to see the scenery and travel through the mountainous landscape. Our guide Daniel is very knowledgeable and took us to interesting places and offered lots of information on the history of local culture, fauna and wildlife. The lunch of local cuisine in the cave restaurant was delicious and the scenery in the area was spectacular. We highly recommend this adventure but be prepared for a fairly long day because there’s lots to take in.

This was a different type of experience to what we expected -equally as good and more informative than expected … we’ve done quad bikes and buggies etc - Ryker adventure (can-am) think pace and knowledge of a walking tour without the walking and the unique three wheelers are your transport.

We were picked up at 9.40 and back at the hotel for 5pm … so a full day out ….

Danny was our guide for the day who is very personable and educated in his surroundings. Multi lingual too. The day in brief is a drive on roads to the mountains (some busy and dual carriage!) some winding and exhilarating! You keep parking up the bikes for stops -caves , fishing town , church , town and the most amazing place for lunch -never experienced a restaurant like it -don’t want to spoil the suprise but it was WOW ! Food is included as was a drink !Make sure (unlike us ) you take a light sweater or jacket -it gets cold up I. The mountains doing 60km an hour !! Would fully recommend you wear decent trainers or walking shoes and use a ruck sack for water etc …

Had a great day riding the Rykers , up into the mountains to visit the cave restaurant and also the lovely village on the way back covered over 80 kilometres great valve and fun, Daniel our tour guide was amazing and so knowledgeable about everything giving us a great experience.

Excellent interesting day out. Extremely well organised, professional friendly staff. Vehicles & helmets in excellent condition, comfortable for both rider and pillion passenger. Limited numbers to ensure safety on the roads. Very knowledgeable tour guide.

Very good experience touring through the mountains on these ryker bikes with a few stops at little villages along the way and credit to our tour guid Daniel he was very informative with the history of each place. We also stopped for lunch at a restaurant carved into the mountain which was a very unusual with breathtaking scenery.

Overall a very good day out.
