Catalonia, south of France, Burgundy and Alsace

Welcome to the first day of your Europamundo journey! We'll start our tour in the beautiful region of Catalonia, heading north to the city of Gerona. Here, you'll be able to explore the city's rich history, including the impressive Cathedral of Santa María. We'll then continue to the medieval town of Besalú, where you'll have time to explore its charming streets and historical sites. Our journey will then take us to French Catalonia, stopping at the coastal town of Colliure, known for its beach, port, and castle. We'll end the day in Carcassonne, a city renowned for its medieval walls.

On the second day, we'll start in Carcassonne, where we'll visit the impressive County Castle and its medieval walls. After some free time, we'll continue to the Occitan city of Narbonne, where you can explore its picturesque historic center. In the evening, we'll arrive in Marseille, the second-largest city in France. Here, we recommend taking a walk through its 'Vieux Port', full of life and small restaurants.

On day four, we'll leave Lyon and head to the Burgundy region. Our first stop will be Tournus, a quaint town with an imposing stone gate and a large abbey. We'll then travel to Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy, where you'll have time for lunch and exploration. We'll visit the Castle of Savigny, a 15th-century castle that houses extraordinary museums. We'll end the day in Dijon, the capital of Burgundy, known for its lively streets and numerous medieval and Renaissance buildings.

On the sixth day, we'll start in Strasbourg, the capital of Alsace. We'll include a boat trip through the canals of Petite France and a visit to a traditional Champagne cellar in Epernay, where you'll learn the secrets of the world's most famous sparkling drink. After a brief stop in Epernay, we'll continue to Paris, where we'll arrive in the evening.
