All breakfasts are included and will be continental with cold cheese, meats and bread, plus pastries, tea and coffee.
Vegetarians: While a meat-and-fish diet is the norm in Spain, many vegetarians have not experienced any problems here. However, the choice of vegetarian and vegan meals may not be as extensive as you are used to.
Mealtimes in Spain are later than in many other countries; dinner is usually taken between 9pm and 9.30pm.
Transfers to and from the airport will be by private vehicle (normally minibus). While cycling, the vehicle will carry your baggage and be on hand with assistance or if you choose to sit out a section of the ride. A guide cycles with the group.
We spend seven nights in three-to-four-star hotels, each chosen for their comfort and location. Some hotels have a swimming pool and/or sea view.

Kick off your adventure in the vibrant city of Barcelona. Start your day with a guided walking tour, exploring the city's iconic landmarks including La Rambla, Barcelona Cathedral, and the Gothic Quarter. After a day of exploration, gather for a group briefing and enjoy your first meal together. Rest for the night at the Catalonia Sagrada Familia (or similar).

After breakfast, transfer to the coastal town of Sitges. Adjust your bikes and start cycling through the cobbled streets and along the promenade. Continue your journey to Vilanova i la Geltrú, stopping for a coffee break. After lunch, cycle to the Arc de Berà, a historical landmark of the Roman Empire. End your day in the medieval town of Altafulla, where you'll enjoy a guided walking tour and visit the castle. Spend the night at the Hotel Altafulla Mar (or similar).

Start your day with a transfer to the coastal town of Salou. Cycle along the promenade in Salou and Cambrils before transferring to L'Ametlla de Mar. After lunch, continue your ride to the seaside town of L’Ampolla, known for its lovely beaches and great restaurants. Enjoy a swim in the sea or relax at the hotel pool. Overnight stay at the Hotel Flamingo (or similar).

Today's highlight is a ride through the Ebro Delta Natural Park, home to over 300 bird species. Cycle alongside canals that travel through rice fields and lagoons. Stop at the town of Deltebre for a coffee break before crossing the Ebro river. Visit the Tancada Lagoon and admire the flamingos and other bird species. In the afternoon, take a coastal route to reach the picturesque fishing town of Sant Carles de la Rapita. Relax at the beach or the hotel pool. Overnight stay at the Hotel Miami Mar (or similar).
Day 5 – Day 5: Sierra de Irta Natural Park - Les Cases d’Alcanar - Peñíscola

Enter the Valencia region and enjoy a scenic day as you cycle through Sierra de Irta Natural Park. Ride next to the coast and pass through the fishing town of Les Cases d’Alcanar. Stop for lunch in Peñíscola and explore the old streets and white houses surrounding the castle. After lunch, enter Sierra de Irta Natural Park and ride on a bumpy dirt track with a few short, steep climbs. Overnight stay at the Gran Hotel Las Fuentes (or similar).
Day 6 – Day 6: Parque Natural del Prat de Cabanes-Torreblanca - Oropesa - Benicassim - El Grau de Castello

Continue cycling south along the coast, passing through the Parque Natural del Prat de Cabanes-Torreblanca. Once you reach the town of Oropesa, use a car-free cycling path that runs along the coast. Stop in Benicassim for lunch at one of the many restaurants with sea-view terraces. After lunch, head inland to reach your destination for the night, El Grau de Castello. Overnight stay at the Hotel Doña Lola (or similar).
Day 7 – Day 7: Playa Puzol - Valencia

On your last day of cycling, start with a transfer to Playa Puzol on the outskirts of Valencia. Cycle past typical vegetable orchards and arrive in Valencia for a guided cycling tour of the city. Visit the City of Arts and Sciences, the Quart and Serranos towers, and the central market. After the tour, check into your hotel for a chance to freshen up before heading into the city for your last group meal. Overnight stay at the Hotel Olympia Universidades (or similar).
