All breakfasts are included and will be continental with cold cheese, meats and bread, plus pastries, tea and coffee.
Vegetarians: While a meat-and-fish diet is the norm in Spain, many vegetarians have not experienced any problems here. However, the choice of vegetarian and vegan meals may not be as extensive as you are used to.
Mealtimes in Spain are later than in many other countries; dinner is usually taken between 9pm and 9.30pm.
Transfers to and from the airport will be by private vehicle (normally minibus). While cycling, the vehicle will carry your baggage and be on hand with assistance or if you choose to sit out a section of the ride. A guide cycles with the group.
We spend seven nights in three-to-four-star hotels, each chosen for their comfort and location. Some hotels have a swimming pool and/or sea view.

Our journey begins in the enchanting city of Barcelona, where we immerse ourselves in its vibrant culture and rich history. We embark on a guided walking tour, exploring iconic landmarks such as La Rambla, the Barcelona Cathedral, and the Gothic Quarter. In the evening, we gather for a trip briefing and our first group meal, setting the stage for the adventure ahead. Accommodation: Catalonia Sagrada Familia (or similar).

After a hearty breakfast, we transfer to the charming town of Sitges. Here, we adjust our bikes and begin our coastal cycling adventure. We explore Sitges' cobbled streets and promenade before a gentle climb through a forest to Vilanova i la Geltrú for a coffee break. Continuing along the coast, we reach the Arc de Berà, a historical Roman monument. Our day concludes in the medieval town of Altafulla, where we enjoy a guided walking tour and a group dinner. Accommodation: Hotel Altafulla Mar (or similar).

We begin our day with a transfer to Salou, where we cycle along the picturesque promenade to Cambrils. After a short transfer to bypass a nuclear power station, we continue our ride to the quaint fishing village of L'Ametlla de Mar. Our journey concludes in the seaside town of L'Ampolla, known for its beautiful beaches and excellent restaurants. Enjoy a swim in the sea or relax by the hotel pool. Today's highlight is cycling through the Ebro Delta Natural Park, Catalonia's largest wetland. We ride alongside canals, rice fields, and lagoons, stopping in Deltebre for coffee before crossing the Ebro River. At Tancada Lagoon, we admire flamingos and other bird species. In the afternoon, we follow a coastal route to the picturesque fishing town of Sant Carles de la Rapita, where we relax at the beach or hotel pool. Accommodation: Hotel Miami Mar (or similar).

Entering the Valencia region, we cycle through the scenic Sierra de Irta Natural Park. We pass through Les Cases d'Alcanar, where we see remnants of Spanish Civil War bunkers. After lunch in Peñíscola, we explore its old streets and castle. Our ride continues through the unspoiled Sierra de Irta Natural Park, offering stunning Mediterranean views. We end our day in El Grau de Castelló. Accommodation: Gran Hotel Las Fuentes (or similar).

We continue cycling south along the coast, enjoying beautiful sandy beaches and passing through the Parque Natural del Prat de Cabanes-Torreblanca. In Oropesa, we take a car-free cycling path along the coast, featuring short tunnels. After lunch in Benicassim, we head inland to El Grau de Castelló. Accommodation: Hotel Doña Lola (or similar).

On our final cycling day, we transfer to Playa Puzol and ride through vegetable orchards towards Valencia. We enjoy a guided cycling tour of the city, visiting the City of Arts and Sciences, Quart and Serranos Towers, and the Central Market. After checking into our hotel, we gather for a farewell group meal. Accommodation: Hotel Olympia Universidades (or similar).
