Day 1 – Day 1: Madrid - Salamanca - Porto

We kick off our journey from Madrid, heading towards the UNESCO World Heritage city of Salamanca. Here, you'll have free time to explore its rich architectural and artistic heritage. We then cross the Portuguese border to reach Porto, where we'll spend the night at either AC Porto or a similar hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we embark on a panoramic tour of Porto, visiting the Cathedral, Stock Exchange building, and Santa Clara church. We then take a scenic cruise along the river Douro on the BlueBoats Cruise, followed by a visit to a renowned Port Wine Cellar for a wine tasting session. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at AC Porto or a similar hotel.

We leave Porto for Coimbra, home to one of Europe's oldest universities and the birthplace of Fado music. After some free time in Coimbra, we head to Fatima, a global pilgrimage site for Christians. Here, we'll visit the impressive Basilica and the Chapel of the Apparitions. In the evening, you may choose to attend the candlelight procession. Overnight at Aurea Fátima, Estrela de Fátima, Regina, or a similar hotel.
