Portugal and Andalucia from Madrid

We kick off our journey from Madrid, heading towards the architectural marvel of Salamanca. After exploring this University City, we cross the Portuguese border to reach the charming city of Porto. Here, we settle in for the night at a comfortable hotel like AC Porto or similar.

After breakfast, we embark on a panoramic sightseeing tour of Porto, a World Heritage city. We visit the majestic Porto Cathedral, the historic Stock Exchange building, and the Santa Clara church. The day concludes with a delightful river cruise and a visit to a renowned Port Wine Cellar for a wine tasting session.

We depart from Porto to Coimbra, home to one of the oldest universities in Europe and the birthplace of Fado. After some free time in Coimbra, we head to Fatima, a significant center of Christian faith and pilgrimage. Here, we visit the impressive Basilica and the Chapel of the Apparitions. The night offers an opportunity to attend the procession of the candles.

We start the day with a visit to the Batalha Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We then proceed to the picturesque fishing town of Nazaré. Our journey continues to Alcobaça, where we visit the Gothic church and Cistercian monastery. The day ends in Lisbon, where we have the option to enjoy a traditional dinner accompanied by a Fado performance.

We spend the day exploring the ancient city of Lisbon. Our tour includes a visit to the Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery, and the Coach Museum. The afternoon is free for you to explore the nostalgic corners of the Alfama Quarter, the old city nestled next to its Castle, where Fado music fills the air.

We depart early from Lisbon and head to Caceres, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its blend of Northern Gothic and Italian Renaissance architecture. After exploring Caceres, we continue our journey to Cordoba, the former capital of the Caliphate.

We start the day with a tour of the impressive Cordoba Mosque and the city's Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, we make a short journey to Seville, where we settle in for the night.

We spend the day exploring Seville, visiting the Cathedral, the Santa Cruz quarter, Maria Luisa Park, and Plaza de España. The afternoon is free for you to discover the city at your own pace. You may also choose to join an optional Flamenco tour.

We depart from Seville and head south, stopping at the town of Ronda. After some free time in Ronda, we continue to the Costa del Sol, one of the most modern and important international tourist areas.

We depart from the Costa del Sol and head towards Granada. Here, we visit the world-famous Alhambra complex and Generalife Gardens. In the evening, you have the option to attend a Gipsy Flamenco show at the Sacromonte quarter.

We leave Granada and head north to Toledo, a World Heritage City where Christian, Moorish, and Jewish cultures have coexisted. After a short guided tour of Toledo, we continue to Madrid, marking the end of our unforgettable journey.
