Private Kitesurfing lessons (adapted to every level)

I did a beginner’s lesson. Just wanted to get an idea of what kitesurfing is about. Great experience, just on the beach learning about controlling the kite and feeling the wind was amazing! My instructor was very clear, patient and reassuring. I can’t wait to continue and get out on the water!

Took 3 days of kitesurfing lessons early september. Securing the lessons was really easy and Marta was very responsive. Americo was my instructor and he was excellent! Very clear in his lessons and on the water guiding you through the best way to manage the kite and board. I got on the board very quickly and got a great taste for kitesurfing! Will be back for sure.

We spent a week with Explora Watersports and took lessons for me and for my 2 sons (12 and 17 years). Since we had lessons with 3 other kite schools in the last years we can confidently say that we had the best experience and learning progress. Before we arrived in Tarifa my younger son had already decided to give up and not practice kitesurfing anymore. The individual way the instructors (Gabi and Marcel) motivated him, raised his confidence level and he started enjoying kite surfing again - this time over the water ;). They have also an amazing spot with private parking and shower facilities close to the beach. For sure you will feel their “customer first” approach!

Our favorite part of the lerning how to kitesurf is that we both learnd how to do it en less then a week(2 days), this experince will be memorable and will come back someday to do it again .

Such a fun learning experience!! The nicest and funniest instructors in Tarifa, I learned how to kite in no time.

Gabri and his team are very experienced and highly professional. The instructors have an individual focus on each student, so you allways feel safe and will improve your level quickly. Thanks to this, I learned kiting at this amazing spot in a relaxed and cool atmosphere and can now come back for new levels and renting equipment.

As I was very interested in kitesurfing, I was looking for a school to get started. A friend of mine who was already riding recommended Explora school. I contacted them and managed to get a good deal for 8 days in Tarifa. I made it to Spain and was able to kite 7 days per 8 ( one of the best wind conditions in the world ).

I was very happy with the output of my trip and my lessons with Marcel and Sebastien, both are very experienced kiters, they are very attentive to details and know what/when exactly to correct. I really liked their easy step by step way of teaching. I was capable of riding upwind in my 3rd lesson and downwind the next one.

I found it very important to be supervised by an experienced instructor, helps a lot in making the progress smooth and learning fast. Worth it!

Besides time spent in kiting, Tarifa is a very charming town and I got to hang out with the team and other students around Tapas and cocktails which was fun, I wish I could have booked another week.

I would definitely recommend Explora, cool and fun people with valuable lessons!!

Great experience with Gabri, Marcel and all of the Explora team last weekend. My progression in the sport has accelerated thanks to these guys, really attentive instruction with an emphasis on making sure you’re safe in the water, which really helped me focus on learning. Highly recommend Explora to anyone who’s thinking about trying kitesurfing for the first time or wanting to brush up on their skills.

The instructors were all very competent and patient with me, could speak both Spanish and English, and I felt confident to start kiting with them. The school is well organized, plus they are good fun and make sure we learn kiting in a good atmosphere! Thank you all for the good time! See you next time :)
