Train transfer from Madrid to Sarria and from Santiago de Compostela to Madrid. Transfers by coach between hotel and railway station and v.v. in Madrid and Sarria and coach excursion to Finisterre and Muxia. The rest of the itinerary is on foot, and daily distances are listed in the day-by-day itinerary.

Upon arrival, check into your hotel and start exploring the vibrant city at your own pace. In the evening, join your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner at the hotel, where your Tour Director will provide important advice for the journey ahead.

Travel by train to Sarria, carrying your own luggage. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring the city. Visit the early-Gothic Church of O Salvador and the 13th-century Convent of the Magdalena, or enjoy a leisurely stroll along the river walk.

Begin your pilgrimage in earnest with a peaceful walk through shady oak forests and charming villages. Visit the beautiful Romanesque church in Barbadelo and pass through the village of Ferreiros. Upon reaching Portomarín, unwind at an outdoor café in the main square.

Start your day by crossing the Belesar dam footbridge and continue your journey to the village of Ligonde. Along the way, visit the Cruceiro of Lameiros and the Monastery of Our Saviour of Vilar de Donas. Spend the night in Lestedo.

Complete your experience with a morning coach excursion to the stunning Cape Finisterre peninsula, once believed to be the end of the world.
