Tour of Gran Canaria

Start your adventure by meeting the Eat Sleep Cycle team at Las Palmas airport. From there, we'll transfer to the beautiful coastal town of Puerto Mogan. After a light lunch, we'll take a warm-up ride along the coast to ensure you and your bike are ready for the climbs ahead. In the evening, enjoy a group meal at the Puerto Mogan harbour before settling in for the night at the Hotel Puerto de Mogán (or similar).

Day 2 brings the first big challenge of the tour - a classic Gran Canaria climb to Pico de las Nieves. Fuel up with a hearty breakfast before setting off. We'll stop for lunch at a favorite cyclists' bar before returning to Puerto Mogan for an evening meal with the group. Rest up at the Hotel Puerto de Mogán (or similar) in preparation for the next day's ride.

On Day 3, we'll ride point to point to the centre of the island via the most brutal climb on the island, the Valley of the Tears. After a breakfast buffet, we'll set off, stopping for a picnic lunch en route. In the evening, enjoy a meal in the restaurant at the Parador Cruz de Tejeda (or similar), where we'll spend the night.

Day 4 offers a chance to rest as we cycle downhill to the north of the island and the black beaches of Agaete. After a breakfast buffet, we'll set off, stopping for lunch in Agaete. The evening is yours to enjoy at your own pace in Agaete. We'll provide recommendations for dinner. Spend the night at the Hotel & Spa Cordial Roca Negra (or similar).

Wake up early on Day 5 as we take the first ferry out of Agaete to Tenerife. The Queen stage of the trip is calling - the climb of the mighty Teide. After a breakfast buffet, we'll set off, stopping for a picnic lunch in a scenic spot. Celebrate the day beachside in Tenerife before settling in for the night at the Jardin de la Paz (or similar).

After breakfast and a ferry ride back across to Agaete on Day 6, enjoy a ride through the lush green landscape of the north of the island. We'll stop for a picnic lunch in a scenic spot before spending our last evening of the trip together at a traditional seafood restaurant harbourside in Agaete. Spend the night at the Hotel & Spa Cordial Roca Negra (or similar).

Sadly, it's time to say goodbye on Day 7. After breakfast at the hotel, join our group transfer to Las Palmas airport. We hope you've enjoyed this unforgettable cycling adventure and look forward to seeing you again on another Eat Sleep Cycle tour.
