Trip to Barcelona in 5 Days

After breakfast, we'll set out for a day trip to the majestic Montserrat Mountain. You'll travel by train to the mountain and then take a cogwheel train to a viewpoint at the top. Here, you'll visit the Benedictine Abbey and the revered Virgin of Montserrat sanctuary. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the rolling landscapes and the unique jagged edges of the mountain range. Learn about the rich history of these beautiful buildings carved into the rock. After a day of exploration, we'll return to the hotel in Barcelona for an overnight stay.

On this day, we'll embark on a walking tour of Barcelona, exploring the city's Roman streets and traveling through time from the Middle Ages to the present day. You'll hear stories, legends, and secrets of warriors, invaders, explorers, kings, queens, and great artists and architects who played a crucial role in shaping this magnificent city. Later in the day, we'll visit the iconic Sagrada Familia, a large unfinished Roman Catholic church designed by Antoni Gaudí. Explore the facades and interior of the basilica, learn about the symbolism behind the Holy Family, and marvel at the stunning stained glass windows. Overnight stay will be in Barcelona.

Today is a day of leisure. You could choose to explore the wild coast of the Costa Brava by kayak. Discover secret coves, small caves, and get up close to marine life. This activity requires no previous experience and is a relaxing day out for all the family. Take a dip in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea, jump from rocks, and marvel at the rugged cliffs and coastline from a different perspective. Enjoy a lunch of freshly prepared hams and cheese sandwiches on the beach. After a fun-filled day at the beach, we'll return to the hotel in Barcelona for an overnight stay.
