Valencia: Old Town Tour, Wine & Tapas in an 11th c. Monument

I did 3 walks in Valencia and Sharin was the best guide and I loved the way she conveyed the historical, cultural and religious aspects of the old city. After this walk you know enough about the old city. I was a bit hungry because of the wine and tapas but the last 2 hours made up for everything on a culinary level. Enough tasty flavor bombs, cava and wine to end the evening. Great evening!

we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Emma was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. she was super nice, and chatty. The Tour itself was great, and it really gave us our bearings. The food (tapas) and wine was chefs kiss, it was amazing. I'm not a wine drinker, but I have to say the selection was beautiful. I would recommend this to anyone. We had the best night, and spent it with some lovely people.

Martha was great, knowledgeable and made us feel as ease. The tour was really interesting. venue for the wine and food was stunning. wine and food really nice and all local and interesting wines. would really recommend.

The tour was very nice and in just over an hour you are explained curiosities and customs of the Valencian community and the history of Valencia. At the end of the tour there is a wine and tapas tour. As for the wines, we start with a Cava and then move on to a Malvasia and then a Moscato (with explanation of the wine), to then move on to the red wines (vino tinto) also here a selection of the territory. The group with which we did the tour was mainly American and therefore in English with a native guide, and as an Italian I was able to understand and interact despite the rusty English.

We had a fantastic weekend trip in Valencia, and this tour was definitely one of the highlights. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, making the experience both informative and enjoyable. A great way to experience the culture and cuisine of Valencia.

The whole tour was great! Martha did a wonderful job introducing us to the area and taking such great care of us during the wine and tapas. No one walked away hungry or thirsty!
