Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to visit bustling markets, dine in traditional rural inns, and marvel at the architectural wonders of Antoni Gaudi. We kick off our adventure at Barcelona-El Prat Josep Tarradellas Airport, where we'll meet at 3:30 pm. From there, we'll journey together to the quaint alpine village of Soldeu, nestled in the heart of the Andorran Pyrenees. After settling into our hotel, the family-run Hotel Soldeu Maistre (or similar), we'll take a brief orientation walk around the village. If you arrive earlier, take the opportunity to explore Barcelona's vibrant food market, La Boqueria, stroll down the bustling Las Ramblas boulevard, or marvel at the architectural masterpieces of Antoni Gaudi.

Today, we'll journey by public bus to Merixtell, the spiritual heart of Andorra. Here, we'll visit the sanctuary dedicated to the patron saint Meritxell. We'll then embark on a scenic walk back to Soldeu along the ancient Cami del Gall trail, taking in the stunning views of mixed woods, streams, and waterfalls.

Today, we'll delve into the untouched wilderness of Andorra's only UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley. We'll drive to the small hamlet of Saint Miquel d'Engolasers and hike up to the refuge at Fontverd. After a picnic lunch, we'll return to Soldeu by bus.

After a short taxi ride to the neighboring village of Ransol, we'll begin our walk into the Vall de Riu, a scenic gem of Andorra. Our final destination today is the mountain village of Canillo, home to Andorra's tallest church tower and one of its finest Romanesque chapels. We'll then return to Soldeu by public bus.

Today is yours to explore at your leisure. You might choose to visit Andorra's bustling capital, Andorra la Vella, home to the smallest parliament in Europe and the oldest Romanesque church in the principality. Alternatively, you could relax at the famous Caldea Spa or take an optional walk to Pessons Lakes.

Today, we'll drive to the Sorteny Nature Reserve, a botanical haven for over 700 species of flora. Our trail leads us up to Estanyó Lake, passing through an alpine landscape that is home to wild boar, martens, chamois, and ptarmigan. On our way back to Soldeu, we'll stop for a drink in the picturesque mountain village of Ordino.

Our walk today takes us into the beautiful glacial landscapes of the Incles Valley. We'll follow the course of the river up to the Siscaro Lakes, nestled within a glacial cirque. After a picnic lunch, we may have the opportunity to walk a little further towards the Incles Pass before heading back to the hotel.

We bid farewell to the mountains today, driving back to Barcelona Airport where our unforgettable journey concludes. We'll leave our hotel around 9 am for the 3.30-hour drive to the airport. Please ensure your departing flight is no earlier than 2:30 pm.
