Penedes Wine & Cava Tasting & 4WD Vineyards Tour from Barcelona

Everything about this tour is top notch! The meeting place is easy to find. The transportation to the winery was smooth and comfortable our guide. Rob was very knowledgeable and going down into the caves where the cava is aged was an amazing experience. There are many stairs more going down than coming up, the tasting was classy and delicious at both wineries

Very well organized tour. The transportation was smooth but expect to be in a van for about an hour both ways. Two wineries were beautiful! We enjoyed the wine and cava a lot. Not our first visit to wineries but we learnt some new information about processes. Each tasting was accompanied with some tasty snacks. We bought cava to ship it home.

Well organized, beautiful setting in a historic vineyard. Both guides were very knowledgeable and spoke english well. Tastings were well done - snacks tailored to the specific glass (poured in Reidel). Enjoyed learning about Penedes and seeing the scenery. Very enjoyable experience!

This was a great tour! Both wine and cava! Highly recommend! We loved the wine, the cava, the history and great beauty of this place! Both guides were great. Really enjoyed Rob, with his knowledge and sense of humor!

Our only negative comment would be on the timing directed by the driver! The driver insisted that we finish at a certain time therefore we were rushed in the second half, tasting the Cava! Didn’t get the same experience as the first half with the wines. Several in the group wanted to purchase but was rushed because of the driver. He then drove very fast getting back into Barcelona. Tour noted that pickup and drop off would be at same spot. But at 3pm he stopped the van and said, time for us to get off! Was not same location so we all had to reorient ourselves to where we were in the city!

The tour should be based on timing of the experience and not based on the driver of transportation!!

Outstanding tour! Our tour guide Rob was not only very well informed but had a great sense of humor. We toured two wineries, one wine and one cava and had tastings at both. We were also given a tour of the vineyard and a tour of the underground cava cellar. Highly recommend to anyone interested in wine making!

Stunning! So well done. Truly beyond my expectations. These vineyards are so well done, the guides were amazing, the wines were delicious. Great snacks. 7 wines tasted. We live in Barcelona and wish we had done this months ago!

I loved hearing Rob explain the history of the winery, and taking us out to see the view on the jeeps. Hearing about the old church on the property was incredible too. OH and the wine!! We loved everything!
