Day-Trip- to-Uppsala

He was kind and thoughtful and we saw some amazing places. Took the train and also he hired a taxi once we arrived at Uppsala to transport us to the Botanical Gardens.

Goddine was an amazing tour guide. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. He knew all the history of Uppsala. I will recommend him to all my friends and family. Uppsala is so worth doing if you travel to Stockholm.

This was a wonderful tour. Although I did not purchase a personal tour - there was nobody with us except for my family, which was very nice. The tour includes many sites in Uppsala which is a beautiful post card picturesque town. Most of the focus was on gardens which my wife and daughter enjoyed. We also toured parts of a university and the enormous main cathedral. Eddine, our tour guide, was absolutely fantastic. He made us feel special and gave us a very happy experience. He knew the sites and history of the town and gave us many funny moments. Eddine answered our questions with informative responses. He took us to a small cafe for a tasty lunch and then to top off our experience we went to a small chapel to witness a local wedding. Wow!!!

We ended up as the only couple on the tour so it was nice to have it geared to what we wanted to see and do. Carl did a great job and was very informative and had a great sense of humor. This was a seven hour tour was plenty of time for what we wanted to see.

I had a wonderful day wandering around Uppsala with my guide Eddine. He was fantastic, explaining everything from history, to plants at the Botanical Gardens and the scientic accompishments of famous people from Uppsala.. He was personable, friendly and knowledgeable. I liked the fact that we travelled by local train and bus or walked around town. I was surprised that the film director Ingrid Bergman came from Uppsala. Best of all I enjoyed our visit to the old Viking village, the church and Viking burial mounds. All in all a fantastic day. We had great weather and really interesting conversation. Highly Recommended!

Another great tour, thanks to Eddine our tour guide! Because of flooding, our train to Uppsala was unexpectedly rerouted, requiring Eddine to quickly adjust our transportation and tour events on the fly. All of our tour guides have been great, and each has their own style - but Eddine's attention to detail and ability to adjust was key to getting the most out of this trip. We would have missed half of the day's events if it wasn't for him, and we're sincerely grateful! He has a special gift for anticipating customer needs and he took extra care to ensure we wanted for nothing, even at his own expense. Case in point: We arrived at Uppsala late and we were hungry, but his plan A (and B) restaurants were unexpectedly closed. My wife, having seen a Greek restaurant, mentioned it and he immediately secured a table for us - even though he doesn't like Greek food. True gentleman, he didn't say anything until we were seated and had ordered. We felt bad but were very grateful for his selflessness. In summary, another great tour - thanks to Eddine!

Enjoyed the Botanical gardens at Linneus museum and University and the Runestones at the University grounds.

My guide was very knowledgeable and loved showing the great sights of Uppsalla. I had an amazing time with Eddine
