Kiruna Northern Lights Tour with Photographer

We chose this tour operator because it seemed to be the only one that brings you wherever northern lights are without limits on the distance. In our case they brought us on a beautiful lake where there was no light pollution an and thus with the best conditions for northern lights. It was really nice to learn many things about aurora during the campfire while enjoying a hot tea and some chocolates. The guide Iris was really kind and a very good photographer: she took beautiful pictures of us and sent us the next day. We highly recommend this tour!

The staff from Lights of Vikings are very friendly and nice and they explained us a lot of things about Aurora. They stopped on the road for us to see the amazing Northern Lights and to take pictures and then we went to a safe darker place in the nature where the lights were extremly visible with the naked eye! There they made a fire for us and they gave us lots of cookies and juice. They are EXCELENT PHOTOGRAPHERS who took a lot of professional pictures. The guides let the car engines open if people wanted to stay in the car to get warm. In addition, the guides told us to wait more for Aurora to explode and guess what? It exploded all over the sky! It was WONDERFUL!

Everything was just perfect. Comms upfront, pick up from hotel as discussed, information during the car ride and then the moment of seeing the northern light itself. All extremely well organised! Thanks Iris and Onur for a magic evening!!

If you want to see the northern lights, don't leave it to chance and definitely join this tour! Our guide Onur is the best. He knows exactly where to find the northern lights. During our three days stay in Kiruna, the weather was very cloudy. On the day we joined the tour, we were sure that we would not be able to see the northern lights. However, our guide found clear skies and we had an unforgettable experience where we saw the northern lights.

The tour was amazing. Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable about the northern lights and took amazing pictures! The night with them was absolutely perfect. On the way back, they asked if we wanted to stop and look at more northern lights since they were so visible that night, and even went out of their way to drop us off at our hotel which was not a part of the pickup list. 10/10 experience!

A team of passionate individuals who truly know how to chase clear skies and spot visible auroras. As an astronomer, I can confidently say they hardly give up! Thanks to their dedication, we were able to see the aurora for three consecutive nights. A special thank you to Iris, a wonderful person who brought so much joy to the tour.

Amazing experience! The guides are really nice and informative, they try really hard to us seeing and enjoying the auroras. We booked the aurora pass 3 night tour and we got to see the lights 3 nights out of 3. Besides, we got great pictures of the lights.

We were stopping in beautiful spots, but it was specially great the day in which we got a cabin.

I had a wonderful experience! Our guide Robin was great and was able to find some clear skies and we got to see the Northern lights! He was also very informative and shared so many interesting things about northern lights, Kiruna, the mines, the local animals, etc. I highly recommend this tour and will register again if I go back to Kiruna!
