The trip in general may be the most surprising to me that the lunch was extensive but without any drink you had to order extra and pay extra if there is dessert there should be coffee for lunch there should be at least water and not the surprise of the waiter and us.

The trip is well organized. I was worried that all the bus ride will tired me out but me and my sons are satisfied with the trip. The cable car ride up to Diavolezza lodge is stress free and enjoyable. The alps view is magnificent. Lunch in Diavolezza lodge is much better than expected. The food is great and presentation is excellent. Our server is fun and attending. Our guide for the trip, Raffaele, makes sure to cover introduction of all the good spots in both Italian and English well in time so we can get our camera ready. Lucky to have great guide like him that make such a long ride pleasant.

We left with a big group from Milano but the rest of the group went to St. Moritz and took the train from there with the guide. The overall bus ride took around 4 hours. The bus then took the two of us to Diavolezza Bernini where we had vouchers for the cable car and lunch up on top the mountain. This was definitely worth it, the views were amazing and the cable car ride was fun. I would caution though that the if you’re a picky eater, the preordered lunch might not be the best, the local dish that was selected has a very specific taste. Afterwards, we took the cable car back and then had tickets to catch the Bernina train to Tirano. The train ride was about 2 hours and the views were amazing. We met up with the bigger group again in Tirano and took the train back. I definitely recommend the extra activity, Diavolezza was amazing and we still had a great train ride.
