Tour du Mont Blanc Trek

Your journey begins in the charming village of Les Houches, nestled in the heart of the Chamonix Valley. Check into our chalet-style hotel and meet your trek leader for a welcome meeting and briefing at 6pm. If you wish, join the group for a dinner at the hotel or a local restaurant. The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore the vibrant centre of Chamonix, just a short bus ride away.

After breakfast, we'll take a short bus ride to Chamonix and embark on a scenic walk along the River Arve. A cable car ride from Les Praz will take us up to Flegere, where we'll hike through open countryside to the stunning Lac Blanc. Soak in the incredible views of the Mont Blanc range before heading back through the forest to our hotel in Argentiere.

Today's trek takes us from Argentiere to the Swiss village of Trient. We'll hike up to the Col des Posettes for breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and the Chamonix Valley, then traverse to the Col de Balme, where we'll gaze into Switzerland. Our descent takes us through open country with views of glaciers before we settle in for the night at a friendly auberge in Trient.

We start the day with a short climb to the Col de la Forclaz, then follow the Bovine Route to Champex. The route winds through meadows, forests, and open country, offering views of the Sion Valley and the mountains of Verbier. We'll end the day at our hotel near Champex Lake, a perfect spot for a sundowner.

Today's trek takes us from Champex to La Fouly, following the river along a picturesque valley to Praz-de-Fort. We'll then ascend with wonderful views of Mt Dolent and the South Face of the Mont Blanc range. The day ends in La Fouly, where we'll rest for the night.

We continue our journey from La Fouly along the Val Ferret, crossing the impressive Grand Col Ferret. The descent offers outstanding views of the iconic Le Grandes Jorasses and Mont Blanc. We'll end the day in La Palud, just a short distance from Courmayeur, where we'll have our main baggage delivered to the hotel.

Today is a free day to rest and explore the surrounding area. You might choose to visit the nearby ski resort of Courmayeur, full of charming shops, cafes, and restaurants. Alternatively, you could visit the hot spring spa at Pre St Didier, take a ride on the revolving Skyway cable car, or embark on one of the many local walking trails.

We'll start the day with a short bus ride to Val Veny, located under the spectacular South Face of Mont Blanc. Our trek will take us along a wide glacial valley to the Col de la Seigne, marking the border between France and Italy. We'll then descend to Les Chapieux, where we'll spend the night.

Today's trek takes us from Les Chapieux to Les Contamines. We'll ascend through marmot country and open meadows to barren scenery, crossing two cols in wild surroundings. Our descent takes us through open country and a narrowing valley to the pretty ski village of Les Contamines.

We'll leave Les Contamines and follow the Tour du Mont Blanc, passing through the pretty hamlets of Gruvaz, Champel, and Bionnassay. We'll then ascend to the Col du Voza, offering outstanding views of the Chamonix Valley, the Chamonix Aiguilles, and the Mont Blanc massif. We'll descend from the col to Les Houches, where we'll reunite with our luggage and enjoy a final night's meal.

Our journey comes to an end after breakfast at our hotel in Les Houches. You're free to depart at any time, with luggage storage facilities available at the hotel if you're leaving later in the day. Safe travels!
