Ian provided our group of four with a very informative and engaging four hour tour of his favourite sites in and around Windermere.We were impressed with his knowledge,enthusiasm and friendly manner.We found him to be very accommodating to changing his itinerary to suit our timetable.Would highly recommend his tour.

Brilliant trip, got to stop at several lovely places and see lots of beautiful scenery along the way. Ian was a lovely guide, really friendly and even went out of his way to pick us up and drop us back after our car broke down. We were only in the area for a couple of days so this was a perfect way to see the highlights without the worry of driving, directions, parking or exploring narrow icy lanes. Would definitely recommend and is great value for a whole family trip.

I would highly recommend this tour. Ian is a fantastic guide; warm and welcoming. He was lovely with my children; made us all feel completely at ease. The tour is awesome! We went off the beat and track and saw sites we would not otherwise have seen. Breathtaking views throughout. And the best bit was when Isn drove through the water! Definitely worth doing and we would go again!

Beautiful scenery and stress free way to see the area. Ian is super friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was very well adapted to a member of our group who has mobility issues and a learning difficulty. Ian was very open, patient and friendly. We went to a beautiful cafe and gift shop, saw amazing mountains, highland cows, lakes and more! Ian was very responsive when we communicated with him about adapting the tour and we would not hesitate to recommend.

I booked the Lake Tour for my partner and I on his birthday, we were lucky with the weather ( although Ian did kindly give us the option to change to the next day . The heavens did finally open, but that was once we were finished and sipping our birthday beers in a great pub Ian had recommended.

Ian drove us to some great sites around the Keswick area , which we wouldn’t have found ourselves..

We both thoroughly enjoyed our 4 hours with Ian .. He is not only engaging , but knowledgeable too ..

I would recommend this tour , but he also offers a Windermere tour too, which I’m sure would be just as good ..

Ian, our guide for this fantastic tour of the Lake District by Lake Windermere. Our family had a great day visiting the Stock Ghyll waterfall and then saw the highest points of the area. We went to the slate mine and entered the huge cave with a fantastic view. We had a drink and cake at Chesters Bakery & Shop. We visited the site of the highest pub, being renovated yet. We drove through the river after the slate mine. A fantastic tour.

Ian is a very nice man and a superb guide.

Ian met us at reception where we were staying. He took us in his Discovery vehicle to see the sights around the Lake District. We saw the water falls in Stock Ghyll Park, then, went to see the highest point in the area before we went to see the cave from the slate mine. This was beautiful as well as having an outstanding of the cave and of the entire area. Ian took us through the river to get back to the main route. We all loved it! We, also, visited the castle which allowed us to have a fantastic view overlooking Lake Windermere and the surrounding area. We stopped for coffee and a cake at Chesters Bakery & Shop--excellent.

I spent a full day with Ian visiting multiple locations in the Lake District. Ian tailored the tour to my particular wishes. In my case, I was interested in walking at every stop we made and Ian was pleased to accommodate this request. The trip included walks that were a bit off the beaten track. Ian is very friendly with a wonderful personality and knows the Lake District exceptionally well. He is also a cautious driver. Time flew by. This was truly an exceptional way to see a big chunk of the Lake District both by car and by foot.
