Gary, our tour guide was amazing. Funny, informative, just brilliant. Chose yellow over red any day. Would highly recommend. Hop on hop off very useful.

Hopped on and off this tour bus for two days. We would like to give a special shout out to Gary L & Wayne, it was so informative and very entertaining, it made our day. We had other hosts as well who were all brilliant but we just loved Gary L’s wit and humour could have listened all day. So thank you to the yellow City Tour Bus you were brilliant.

Dave and driver, sorry I forgot drivers name, were very good. Dave had so much knowledge about Liverpool’s history and was funny . I loved the fact that this tour had live commentary not ear phones. The city is fabulous very compact and extremely interesting. With so much to see, a long weekend does not do it justice if you want to do museums , the tours, the wheel etc. However, this tour touches on important landmarks and gives you a sense of this city’s incredible history.

We were lucky to get front seats upstairs on the bus . So we were sheltered when we had a rain shower .

Guide was informative especially about losing her mobile phone . The driver was brilliant and his driving skills tested many times on the journey due to idiots pulling in front of him .

We did the full tour and stayed on the bus and got off at Lime street station .

Excellent experience on the City Explorer sightseeing bus. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about Liverpool. 50 minutes was just the right length. We went straight to the Beatles Story afterwards, which was very close to the last bus stop.

Liverpool is a wonderful city. The hop on hop off is great. You can take time to see what you want. Cavern is good the cathedral of christ the king is unbelievable even if you are not religious it's atmosphere is wonderful so serene. The guides are welcoming , knowledgeable and very entertaining.

We did the ferry and city combo for starters. Both were fantastic. So worthwhile. We returned the next day to do the city tour again as you get 2 days travel on the hop on hop off service. Lee our driver recognised us as we'd had a ticket fiasco the day before, we had lost our ticket. Got to say the staff were so helpful, they waited as we searched. Both Tommy and Gary gave fab information and entertaining commentary. We added the Beatles Tour and really enjoyed our trip round with commentary from the entertaining Chris. Well worth the money for sure.

Definitely recommend this tour but note last tour time. Did 2 laps of the tour
