5 Days-Seven Churches of Revelation

Welcome to Izmir, Turkey's third-largest city! Upon your arrival at Izmir Airport, you'll be greeted by your driver who will take you to your hotel. After checking in, you can rest and rejuvenate for the exciting journey ahead. Overnight stay will be in Izmir.

After breakfast, we'll set off for Pergamum, where we'll explore the magnificent Acropolis, the Altar of Zeus, the Temple of Trajan, and the ancient city's library. We'll then visit the Red Basilica and continue our journey to Thyatira, now known as Akhisar. Here, we'll discover the remnants of a basilica and architectural fragments from the Roman period. Before returning to Izmir, we'll enjoy a panoramic ride of Smyrna, one of the Seven Churches of Asia. Overnight stay will be in Izmir.

We'll start the day early and head to Sardis, where we'll explore the beautifully restored gymnasium and the Synagogue. Our journey continues to Philadelphia, now known as Alasehir, to see the remnants of a Byzantine basilica. Next, we'll visit the healing city of Hierapolis, or Pamukkale, famous for its hot mineral water that forms stunning pools and stalactites. We'll also visit the Martyrium of the Apostle Philip. Our final stop for the day is Laodicea, where we'll walk among the ancient streets and see the ancient structures. We'll spend the night in a thermal hotel in Pamukkale.

After breakfast, we'll drive to the ancient city of Ephesus. Here, we'll walk through history along marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings such as the Baths of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Theatre. We'll then visit the House of Virgin Mary, the Basilica of St. John, and the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. After a day full of exploration, we'll drive you to your hotel in Kusadasi for an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, you'll check out and be transferred to Izmir Airport according to your flight schedule. This marks the end of our memorable journey through the historical and cultural wonders of Turkey.
