8 Days Turkish Delight – Istanbul Cappadocia Antalya

Welcome to Istanbul, the city where East meets West. Upon your arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel in the old city. A welcome package, including tour vouchers, an Istanbul map, and other touristic information, will be waiting for you. The rest of the day is yours to relax or start exploring this vibrant city.

Today, you'll delve into the rich history of Istanbul with a full-day guided tour. Marvel at the grandeur of the Hagia Sophia Mosque, relive the excitement of chariot races at the Byzantine Hippodrome, and be mesmerized by the blue Iznik tiles of the Blue Mosque. Lose yourself in the bustling Grand Bazaar, Turkey's largest covered market, and explore the opulent Topkapi Palace, the former residence of Ottoman Sultans. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airport for a direct flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, a private car and driver will take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to start exploring this unique region known for its distinctive fairy chimneys, ancient cave dwellings, and beautiful valleys.

Today's adventure begins in the Red Valley, where you'll explore famous rock-cut churches and hike through the colorful fairy chimneys. Next, you'll visit Cavusin, a Greek village known for its rock-cut churches. After lunch, you'll explore the Ozkonak Underground City, the largest of its kind in Cappadocia. Then, you'll visit the Pigeon Valley, famous for its dovecotes, and the Ortahisar Castle, the biggest mass fairy chimney of Cappadocia. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

After breakfast, we'll drive to Antalya, stopping in Konya city to visit the Mevlana Museum, which houses the tomb of the famous Sufi mystic Rumi. After lunch, we'll continue our journey to Antalya, a beautiful city on the Mediterranean coast. Enjoy dinner and a restful night in your hotel.

Today, we'll explore the natural and historical wonders of Antalya. We'll start with a visit to the Duden Waterfall, a unique natural wonder located on the Duden River. Next, we'll take the Tünektepe Cable Car up to a height of 605 meters, offering magnificent views of Antalya city, the new harbor, and the Mediterranean sea. Finally, we'll explore Kaleiçi, the old town, where you can see Hadrianus Gate, the Clock Tower, Fluted Minaret, and the ancient harbor. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.

After breakfast, we'll drive to Pamukkale, known for its white calcium terraces, also known as travertines, and the ancient city of Hierapolis. Here, you'll see the large necropolis, Great Baths, Frontinus Street, Theatre, Martyrion of St. Phillip, and the antique pool also known as Cleopatra’s pool. Enjoy a barefoot walk on the travertines before we drive back to our hotel for dinner.
