From Istanbul: Day Trip to Ephesus with Flight and Lunch

The trip was overall great. The arrangements were made quickly and thoroughly and there was great communication through email, what’s app, and the app. There were a couple of disconnects as far as the airport pickups. It’s difficult to find someone you don’t know when they are at a different place and don’t have the promised sign with your name on it. During the tour, the guide was kind, informative, and clear. I have been on other tours and bottled water was provided. It was a hot day and it would have been a low cost lovely perk for the small group.

A must see! Amazing tour thanks to both, our guide Aykut Barat and Metin Özyagci, the driver. Our flight to Izmir was delayed, but they organized everything so we could visit all the sports comfortably. Aykut Spanish is excellent and his knowledge about the history of Turkey and therefore Mary's house and Ephesus, is incredible, we learned so much. The lunch was delicious and the transfer to and from the airport very comfortable, everything was very well organized. It's very worth it! Excellent tour thanks to our guide Aykut Barat and driver Metin Özyagci. Our flight was delayed but they managed to make us see everything calmly and with a lot of very interesting information. Aykut knows a lot and explained everything to us with excellent Spanish, he also took us to a delicious lunch! Thank you very much for all the attention and for making this tour so special. The transfers to the airport and back were also very comfortable, everything was very well organized.

Great communication, they sent us the plane tickets in advance, all the transfers from the hotel to the airport in Istanbul, then from the local airport to the tours and the way back, everything went smoothly. The guide was very helpful and explained the main points.

Ephesus is amazing and our guide was great. I find the description of the tour on the site unclear since I booked looking for the tour with a later departure in the morning and which guaranteed a longer tour of the archaeological site. In reality instead of 7 they picked us up from the hotel at 430 in the morning and we wasted too much time going to a leather shop that sold jackets. Something absolutely not listed in the tour description. Which I could have tolerated only if the tour was free and offered by a sponsor but it's not. Furthermore, I am vegan and against the use of leather! It would have been far better to be able to visit the archaeological museum.

Highly recommend taking this trip if you only have one day to spare. Our tour guide Efe made everything even better. Excellent guide!

The tour was very insightful. We had a superb guide and the driver was really friendly. It was a smooth and valuable day trip.
