Ottoman Royal Hammam Experience in the Old City

Best hamam experience ever. Well trained staff, perfect atmosphere. A well reconstructed historic building. Absolutely clean. Has been worth the price.

I had the most incredible experience at the Ottoman Royal Hamam in the Old City! I booked the Ab-i Hayat package, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the warm welcome to the exquisite care throughout, every detail was perfect. The staff were professional, attentive, and ensured I felt completely relaxed. The setting was stunning, blending luxury with authenticity. It was genuinely the best Turkish Hamam experience I’ve ever had—highly recommended!

My wife and I had our first-ever hammam experience, and we couldn’t have asked for better. From the moment we arrived, everything was spot on. The staff were welcoming and made us feel comfortable, which really helped as we didn’t know what to expect.

The setting was clean and beautifully set up, creating such a relaxing vibe. The treatment itself was just amazing – the perfect mix of cleansing and relaxation. The staff were professional and ensured we were at ease throughout the whole process.

We left feeling completely refreshed and pampered. Honestly, it was such a memorable experience, and we’re already looking forward to doing it again. If you’re new to this, don’t hesitate – it’s absolutely worth it!

Buket, my therapist, was attentive, kind, professional, and familiar all at once! I felt rejuvenated and cared for.

Everything was immaculate, warm, and infused with a light pleasant aroma. The sound of running water and the delicate lilt of women's voices echoing off the marble walls was relaxing and landed on my ears like beautiful music. I was aware of the other women, but I never felt intruded upon.

Buket literally took my hand and walked me through the process which could have been intimidating for a first timer--but she made it perfect! After my service I received Turkish coffee, Turkish delight, sparkling water, fresh pomegranate juice, and a bonus face mask!

If you have never visited a Turkish hamam, I highly recommend HSH and Buket!!! I also recommend you go for the traditional experience. You can find reflexology, and aroma therapy massage anywhere! Take the plunge, you will NOT be disappointed!

Me and my girlfriend had a fantastic experience. Everything was thought of to the finest details from getting slippers, clothes for the hamam totea at the end with lokum.

A wonderfully clean and elegant place. I was taken care of by Bayram Çakmak. He was attentive, friendly and gave me the best treatment. The cleansing was thorough and pleasantly gentle. The massage was the best ever. Bayram is a sport masseur and he knows the human body perfectly. He took into account my sciatica and afterwards I felt rejuvenated and relaxed for days. I highly recommend this hammam and Bayram for anyone’s introduction to a real Turkish bath experience. I wish it were in New York.

I had an unforgettable, wonderful, relaxing experience at the Historical Hurrem Sultan Hamam in Old City, Istanbul in an absolutely charming and comfortable atmosphere. Special thanks to the massage specialist, Dilek, who was absolutely professional, extremely lovely and polite - she made me feel like a true Princess . I highly recommend this place!
