4 nights accommodation in B&Bs / Inns on a twin share basis with ensuite facilities or private bathrooms where available (1 night in an inn on a room only basis)

The hotels described are our usual accommodation, however if these are not available then alternatives are used. Rooms generally do not have baths, the main reason being that they take up a lot of space. Some hotels/guesthouses may have a separate room in the house where a bath is available to guests, but in the main it is showers. Note that for the dates of your tour we may not be able to get you into the accommodation described. We will endeavour to get you into a similar standard of accommodation nearby, but please appreciate that there is limited accommodation in rural England. Also, although we aim to get you into accommodations with ensuite rooms, this is not always possible. At a couple of places on your tour you may be sharing bathrooms, particularly if you are in a single room.

Bike Hire for 3 days: Hybrid bike incl. puncture repair kit. E-Bike Hire on request (supplement applies, please ask us for details)

The bikes are good ‘Merida’ (or similar) Hybrid bikes with 24 gears and lock out suspension. Specification may vary slightly. They come with a lock, puncture repair kit, pump and spare inner tube. The tires are highly puncture resistant. They have a rack (but no panniers) and a bottle holder. You should bring your own panniers (or hire them from the shop) if you wish and a water bottle. While helmets can be provided, we recommend you bring your own well-fitted helmet from home. It will also be worth bringing some simple LED lights with you, as even if you do not intend to cycle during the evenings, low fogs coming off the sea during the day are quite common.

Bike hire is included and a record of your credit card details may be kept as a security deposit for the period of hire, following which, the details will be securely destroyed. Proof of identity is required.

The bike hire shop is open Monday to Saturday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm & closed on Sundays.

If leaving the cycles unattended, please ensure they are secured with the locks provided. Although the bikes are insured, an excess of £50.00 will be charged to the hirer if the bike is stolen or badly damaged during the rental period.
