Welcome to Tirana, the dynamic capital of Albania. After settling into your hotel, you're free to explore the city at your own pace. Visit the Grand Park of Tirana, stroll through the bustling Pazari i Ri market, or simply relax and soak up the atmosphere. In the evening, meet your tour leader and fellow travelers for a welcome meeting, followed by an optional group dinner.

After breakfast, we leave Tirana and head south to Gjirokaster, a charming town known as 'The City of Stone'. On the way, we'll stop for a refreshing swim in the Vjosa River. Once in Gjirokaster, we'll explore the town's impressive castle and enjoy a delicious dinner of traditional Albanian cuisine.

Today, we'll embark on an exhilarating rafting adventure on the Vjosa River, one of the last 'wild' rivers in Europe. After a picnic lunch, we'll take a short hike along the banks of the Benja River and enjoy a dip in the natural thermal pools. We'll then return to Gjirokaster for a relaxing evening.

Today, we'll travel from Gjirokaster to the Ionian Sea, stopping at Porto Palermo for a swim and a visit to the Ali Pasha Fortress. We'll then continue along the scenic coastal road, passing through charming villages and over the breathtaking Llogara Pass, before arriving in Vlora for a three-night stay at a beachside hotel.

Today, we'll set sail on a private boat to explore the turquoise waters of the Karaburun and Sazan Island Maritime Park. We'll visit the mysterious Sazan Island, swim in the crystal-clear waters, and have lunch on one of the peninsula's most beautiful beaches. We'll then return to our hotel in Vlora for a leisurely evening.

Today is a free day to relax and explore Vlora at your own pace. You can choose to visit the ruins of Kanina Castle, take a bike ride to the city center, or explore the beautifully renovated Old Town. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the many restaurants along the promenade.
Day 7 – Day 7: Vlora to Tirana via Apollonia and Mt Djati

We'll leave Vlora early in the morning and head back to Tirana, stopping at the UNESCO-listed archaeological site of Apollonia. After lunch, we'll take a cable car ride to Mt Djati for stunning views of Tirana and a fun-filled afternoon at the Djati Adventure Park. We'll then return to Tirana for our final night.

Our tour ends after breakfast. You're free to depart at any time, but if your flight is later in the day, you can store your luggage at the hotel and spend more time exploring Tirana. If you'd like to extend your stay, we can arrange additional nights' accommodation.
