Hiking Tour: Albania & Montenegro

Welcome to Albania! Upon your arrival at the airport, you'll be transferred to your hotel in Tirana. If you're up for it, join a guided walking tour of the city center, where you'll visit Skanderbeg Square, Et’hem Bey Mosque, the Pyramid, and the Blloku area. In the evening, meet your Tour Director and fellow travelers at a welcome dinner.

Today, we head to the northernmost part of Albania, Kelmendi. Along the way, we'll stop for a guided tour of Rozafa Fortress, known for its stunning 360-degree views. We'll also make stops at Leqet e Hotit Pass and the Blue Eye of Tamara. After lunch and some free time in the village of Tamara, we'll reach our guesthouse in Lepushe Village. Here, you can explore the local trails and discover a waterfall and an old stone mill.

After breakfast, we'll start our hike towards Vajusha Peak, passing through the forest of Dobku mountain. Enjoy a picnic lunch with stunning views of the Accursed Mountains. We'll then reach Grebaje valley in Prokletije National Park, where we'll take a local transportation to our guesthouse in Vusanje (Vuthaj). End the day with a delicious dinner and a mountain view.

Today, we'll drive through Grebaje valley to the start of our hike. The path takes us along the craggiest part of the Prokletije/Bjeshkët e Namuna mountains, offering stunning views. We'll also get a glimpse into the region's past, with a visit to a border military post, a bunker, and the border crossing pyramid sign. Our hike ends at the beautiful village of Theth, known for its traditional tower houses.

Spend the day exploring the natural wonders of Theth National Park. Marvel at the waterfall and canyon, take a refreshing bath at the Natural Pools, and enjoy a picnic lunch at the Blue Eye of Theth. In the afternoon, visit the village of Theth, where you can see a four-century-old reconciliation tower and a well-preserved 100-year-old church.

Today, we'll set off on a guided hike through the Accursed Mountains. The well-maintained trail is suitable for all levels of hikers. We'll take many stops along the way to enjoy the breathtaking panoramas, eat a picnic lunch, and take photos.

Enjoy the morning in the gorgeous setting of Valbona, surrounded by towering mountain peaks. Explore the village of Kukaj or relax in Valbone Valley. Later, we'll transfer to Fierze Dam to hop on a boat for a scenic ride on Koman Lake, passing by rocky mountains and vivid green hills. We'll then transfer back to Tirana and settle into our hotel.
