The accommodation is based in traditional and simple homestay/guesthouse/lodge- style or shepherd’s hut with basic bathroom amenities. Each room typically accommodates two to five travelers, and it might be necessary for male and female groups to share a room, unless you book a private room. We kick off our adventure at 06:00 am from either Tirana or Shkoder. As we journey towards the Albanian Alps, you'll be captivated by the stunning landscapes. We'll take a local transport ride from Shkoder at around 7:30 am, heading towards Theth. The area is renowned for its medicinal herbs and lavender fields. We'll reach Qafa e Thores, a spot offering a picture-perfect view of the Albanian Alps. After a short break, we'll hike to the Blue Eye, a natural wonder formed by the erosion of melting snow. We'll then visit the Old Church and the 'Lock in' Tower in Theth, steeped in centuries of history. We'll spend the night in a traditional guest house in Theth (or similar).

Wake up to the stunning view of the Albanian Alps. After breakfast, we'll hike from Theth to the Grunas Waterfall, a natural monument since 2002. The hike offers a glimpse into the daily lives of local villagers and their traditional stone houses. After spending some time at the waterfall, we'll drive back through Qafa e Thores, heading towards either Shkoder or Tirana. This journey through the Albanian Alps will leave you with a sense of wonder and excitement.
