Embark on a thrilling journey from Tirana, where our tour leader will pick you up for an adventure into the heart of the Albanian Alps. As we drive through the scenic landscapes, we'll pass through the city of Shkoder and make our way to Tamarë. From here, our hiking adventure begins, taking us through the breathtaking Peaks of the Balkans. Our first stop is the charming village of Lëpushë, known for its stunning natural beauty and unique culinary delights. After a day of exploration, we'll continue our hike to the majestic Talijanka Peak, crossing the border into Montenegro. The day concludes in the picturesque village of Vuthaj, where you can unwind at a guest house and perhaps visit the serene Ali Pasha Springs.

Today, we journey from Vuthaj back into Albania, heading towards the enchanting village of Theth. Our trek will take us past the towering Arapi Peak, one of the highest in the Balkans, offering breathtaking views. Along the way, we'll encounter traditional shepherd's huts, providing a glimpse into the rustic lifestyle of the Albanian Alps. Upon reaching Theth, we'll explore its historical treasures, including the Old Church and the iconic Lock-in Tower, each with stories steeped in history. After a day filled with exploration and discovery, we'll rest in a cozy guest house in Theth.

Prepare for an exhilarating day as we trek from Theth to Valbona, traversing the stunning Valbona Pass. This challenging hike promises awe-inspiring views of the Peaks of the Balkans and the dramatic Accursed Mountains. As we ascend to the top of the pass, the panoramic vistas will leave you breathless, offering the perfect opportunity for capturing unforgettable photos. Our descent leads us to the idyllic village of Valbona, nestled amidst towering peaks. Here, we'll unwind in a traditional guesthouse, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Albanian Alps.

Today, our adventure continues as we hike from Valbona to the remote village of Cerem. Our path will lead us through lush forests and vibrant meadows, with the option to extend the hike to Zla Kolata Peak, Montenegro's highest point. Along the way, we'll encounter unique natural wonders, including a stone face etched into the mountainside and a mysterious cave with icy winds. Arriving in Cerem, we'll find ourselves in a secluded haven, far from modern conveniences but rich in hospitality and delicious local cuisine. Our overnight stay in a guest house here promises a truly authentic experience.

Our journey today takes us from Cerem to Doberdol, following a scenic mule track. As we traverse the border into Montenegro, we'll be surrounded by the beauty of pine forests and the chance to forage for seasonal berries. Our path leads us through Albania's only National Reserve, home to brown bears and the elusive Balkan lynx. The trail's highest point reaches 2100 meters, offering breathtaking vistas. In Doberdol, we'll experience the simplicity of life in a shepherd's hut, enjoying local dishes and the warm hospitality of the villagers. This overnight stay promises a memorable and unique experience.
