Tour of Southern Albania; Vlore, Butrint & Gjirokaster

Your Albanian adventure begins in the vibrant city of Tirana, where our professional tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. Our first stop is the serene Narta Lagoon, followed by a visit to the ancient Monastery of Saint Mary. We then head to the coastal city of Vlora, known for its beautiful beaches and historical significance. Here, you'll explore the Flag's Square and the Independence Monument, take a stroll through the Muradie neighbourhood, and visit the Muradie Mosque. The day ends with a leisurely walk along Lungomare, a picturesque promenade by the sea. Overnight stay will be in a comfortable hotel near Vlora.

Day two begins with a scenic drive along the Albanian Riviera, passing by the stunning Llogara National Park and the beautiful beaches of Palase, Dhermi, and Llamani. We'll stop at the historic Castle of Ali Pasha in Porto Palermo before heading to Butrint National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Albania's most important archaeological sites. After exploring the ancient ruins, we'll continue our journey to Gjirokaster, where you'll spend the night.

The final day of your tour is dedicated to exploring Gjirokaster, also known as 'The Stone City'. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to a well-preserved medieval town and a historic castle. You'll wander through the atmospheric old town, visit the medieval bazar, and explore one of the city's best-preserved houses. After a day of exploration, we'll drive back to Tirana, marking the end of your unforgettable Albanian adventure.
