We embark on our journey towards the Albanian Alps from Tirana, driving through the wild fields and rugged mountains. We'll take a local transport ride from Shkoder, passing through fields of aromatic lavender. We'll hike to the Blue Eye, a stunning natural attraction formed by the erosion of melting snow. We'll also visit the Old Church and the Lock-in Tower in Theth, each with their own centuries-old stories. We'll spend the night in a traditional guesthouse in Theth.
