Day 1 – Day 1: Arrival in Vienna

Begin your Austrian adventure with your arrival in Vienna. Check-in at your hotel is available from 3pm. Detailed instructions on how to reach your accommodation will be provided. The rest of the day is yours to relax and settle in. The real excitement begins the following morning.

After breakfast, join a walking tour of Vienna at 10am to see the city's main sights including the Vienna Opera, Hofburg Palace, Parliament, City Hall, and St. Stephen's Cathedral. Spend your afternoon exploring the city's Christmas markets for some souvenir shopping and local hot spiced wine. In the late afternoon or early evening, choose between a tour of the Spanish Riding School or a classical music concert. End your day with a night out in Vienna's best nightlife district, The Bermuda Triangle, or catch the famous Vienna opera.

After breakfast, meet your guide for a tour of Vienna's grand Schonbrunn Palace. This 'skip the line' tour allows you immediate entrance into the palace to explore the state rooms, the Great Gallery, and the Hall of Ceremonies. You'll also see the opulent palace gardens and the hilltop Gloriette overlooking Vienna's forests and city center. In November and December, experience the world famous Christmas Market at Schonbrunn Palace. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Vienna at your own pace.

After breakfast and check-out, depart early at 8am for Salzburg, a journey of approximately 3 hours. Spend the day exploring the city's sights such as the Hohensalzburg fortress and the Mozart museum. You can also opt for the Sound of Music tour or enjoy lunch at the Augustiner Brau beerhall. Departure from Salzburg is on your own.
