Kickstart your adventure with a short bus ride and hike up to the summit of Sulzenschneid. Traverse the Alpine pasture area of Rinderfeld, home to a variety of grazing cattle. Continue your journey along a high-altitude path towards the impressive Bischofsmütze rock formation. End your day at the cozy Hofpürgl hut, nestled at the foot of this iconic landmark.

Wake up to a beautiful morning on the mountain and prepare for a day of high-altitude trekking beneath the sharp ridges of the Gosau mountain. Enjoy a break at the Stuhlalm alp, known for its homemade produce. Continue your journey to the Gablonzer hut, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Dachstein glacier and the Gosau valley and lake. End your day with a relaxing cable car descent to lake Gosau.

Today's journey takes you from Gosau through forest paths to the Iglmoosalm alp and onwards to the hut of the Goiserer Alpine Club. Situated on a mountain crest, the hut offers stunning views of the Goiserer valley and Lake Hallstättersee. If you're up for it, you can opt for a summit ascent onto the Hochkalmberg mountain, home to the unique 'Stone Indian' rock formation. Your day ends with a descent to the charming town of Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstättersee.

Start your day with a scenic walk from Bad Goisern to the Giselawarte outpost pavilion, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Continue through unspoilt farmland to the historic Soleweg path, which leads to the Hallstätter salt mine. We highly recommend a visit to this historic site. From the viewing platform at Rudolfs-tower, enjoy stunning views over Hallstadt and the Krippenstein mountain. Descend by cable car to Hallstadt, a UNESCO World Heritage village known for its unique beauty and numerous tourist attractions. Return to Bad Goisern by boat and train.

After a short transfer, your route takes you through the forest to the summit of Hochmühleck. Continue to the Viehberg alp, where traditional huts invite you to take a break. Traverse a remote karst and mountain pine area to reach the Brünner hut, situated on the Stoderzinken. Spend a restful night in the mountains, directly below the sharp peak of the Stoderzinken.

Today, you'll cross the high plateau of the Styrian Dachstein plateau. Hike through mountain pine and larch forests, past little mountain lakes, and over solitary and vast karst and gravel areas. This high-altitude trekking tour beneath spectacular summits and through untouched nature leads you to the mountaineer-station Guttenberghaus, marking the perfect end to your week of trekking around the Dachstein.
