Your Austrian adventure begins in the city of Salzburg. Upon arrival, you'll receive information about the tour and have your bike fitted. Depending on your arrival time, you may start your tour with the route described for the third day. Today, you'll cycle along the Salzach to Oberndorf, the birthplace of the Christmas carol 'Silent Night'. You'll visit the Silent Night Museum in Arnsdorf and the abbey in Michaelbeuern. From there, you'll continue to the Trumer Seen lakes. A shorter, direct version of the route is also available. Your overnight stay will be at the Walkner (or similar) for category A guests, and Mitterhof (or similar) for category B guests.
