From the birthplace of the beloved Christmas carol 'Silent Night' in Oberndorf to the Mozart village on Lake Wolfgangsee, every day brings new discoveries. You'll cycle along serene lakes, through tranquil valleys, and visit charming villages, all while enjoying the comfort of carefully selected hotels each night. This tour is not just about the destinations, but also the journey, as you pedal your way through some of Austria's most breathtaking scenery.

Day 1 – Day 1: Welcome to Salzburg

Your Austrian adventure begins in the city of Salzburg. Upon arrival, you'll receive information about the tour and have your bike fitted. Depending on your arrival time, you may start your tour with the route described for the third day. Your accommodation for the night will be at the ARCOTEL Castellani (or similar) for category A guests, and Ganslhof (or similar) for category B guests.
Day 2 – Day 2: Salzburg to Trumer Seen Lakes

Today, you'll cycle along the Salzach to Oberndorf, the birthplace of the Christmas carol 'Silent Night'. You'll visit the Silent Night Museum in Arnsdorf and the abbey in Michaelbeuern. From there, you'll continue to the Trumer Seen lakes. A shorter, direct version of the route is also available. Your overnight stay will be at the Walkner (or similar) for category A guests, and Mitterhof (or similar) for category B guests.
Day 3 – Day 3: Trumer Seen Lakes to Mondsee

On the third day, you'll cycle through the nature reserve of the Egelseen lakes to Schleedorf, known for its model village and cheese-maker. Later, you'll continue to the idyllic Lake Irrsee. Your overnight stay will be in the charming town of Mondsee, at the Krone (or similar) for category A guests, and Meingast (or similar) for category B guests.

The day begins with a boat trip to Weyregg, followed by a cycle through the Aurachtal valley to Lake Traunsee. You'll visit Gmunden, known for its castle Orth and ceramics factory, Altmünster, home to a bicycle museum, and Traunkirchen, famous for the 'Fishermen’s Pulpit'. Your overnight stay will be at the Post Ebensee (or similar) for category A guests, and Hocheck (or similar) for category B guests.

Today, you'll cycle from Bad Ischl, visiting the Emperor’s Park, Emperor’s Villa, and Empress Sissi’s Teahouse. You'll then cycle along the Ischler Ache river to Lake Wolfgangsee, visiting St. Wolfgang, Strobl, Lake Abersee, and finally, St. Gilgen - the Mozart village on Lake Wolfgangsee. Your overnight stay will be at the Seehotel Huber (or similar) for category A guests, and Aberseehof (or similar) for category B guests.
Day 6 – Day 6: St. Gilgen to Salzburg

On the sixth day, you'll cycle to the deep blue Fuschlsee, past the Hintersee lake, and through the Strubklamm gorge into the Wiestal valley. You'll pass through the Glasenbachklamm into the Salzachtal valley. Before reaching Salzburg, you'll visit the castle Schloss Hellbrunn. Your destination is the festival and Mozart city of Salzburg. Your overnight stay will be at the ARCOTEL Castellani (or similar) for category A guests, and Ganslhof (or similar) for category B guests.
