Your wine-tasting experience begins with a scenic drive from the picturesque Neretva River valley. You'll wind up the hill roads towards the heart of Mostar's wine country. As you drive up, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of bright green vineyards stretching below.

Your first stop on this wine tour is at the Emporia wine cellar, located in the heart of this hilly region. Here, you'll explore the famous Imperial vineyards and wine cellars. You'll learn about the area's rich history of wine growing. You'll also taste high-quality Emporia wines paired with traditional local specialties like cheese, smoked beef ham, and homemade bread. This visit offers an immersive journey into the world of wine, right where it’s made.

The wine experience continues to the Brkic wine cellar in the small town of Citluk. This unique winery is run by Josip Brkic, Bosnia and Herzegovina's only organic winemaker. At Brkic, you'll learn about natural winemaking with local grapes. A highlight of this visit is Mjesecar, a skin-fermented white wine made from 100% Zilavka. It's produced entirely according to the phases of the Moon. As you enjoy this wine with Livno sheep cheese, local olive oil, fig jam, and homemade prosciutto, you'll feel like a guest in a family member’s home.
